Hey all, a lot of people from my spartan company has been experiencing the issue where one or more get stuck at the black loading screen with the white circling gif at the bottom left. For me this happens at least a couple times a night which has gotten really annoying especially when playing with other friends for ranked matches.
Just trying to see how widespread this is and if 343 knows.
343 definitely knows and they are working on it. I think its safe to say it will be resolved soon.
I get it a lot. I don’t know if 343i will ever fix it, even if they do know about it. There a lots of things in Halo 5 that they know about and haven’t fixed yet.

With 343, nothing is ‘safe to say.’ I also experience the Black Screen of Death at least once a night while playing. Very frustrating. At least it’s not as bad as the infamous, “Connection Lost” mid-game.

It happens mostly with Warzone Firefight.

When I was playing it was with any type of Warzone match. I don’t believe I ever had it happen with Arena.

I get it regardless which playlist I am on with my friends. Last night half our team got stuck when going into BTB with a full 8.
What I hate about it is that it counts as a DNF or “quit” due to no fault of my own.

The problem is linked to using the new announcers, which is why I stick with the default.

It hadn’t happened to me at all since people started reporting it. It has happened to me about 10 times since I bought the Voices of War pack late last week. Not sure if everyone else who has been having this issue has the Voices, maybe it is related.

By listening to Sarah Palmer and never get the black screen and with a massive sample size, but every 10 games or so with the new voices I get the black screen.
This is still happening to me quite often, yeah. Mostly on Warzone, but I get connection lost every so often in arena. Annoying so I avoid ranked now

I’ve been using the default announcer now for a couple of days and so far no black screen.
If the Voices of War REQ pack is indeed the cause I hope it’s fixed soon, because it ain’t the same without Buck.
It bothers me there hasn’t been an update about it.
This was posted on the 1st month of 2017, now it’s nearing august and I’m having this issue ALOT, and I mean 5 times a day on matchmaking, customs and warzone.
It’s the end of July, nearly beginning of August 2017, and I have had this problem consistently for MONTHS! It happens every 3 or so warzone ff games. This is beyond frustrating when playing with friends and getting stuck on the loading screen. I lose the boosts I activate every time this happens. FIX THIS -Yoink- 343! What bothers me is you have known about this for so long and get complaints all the time and do nothing! Why?
As a paying customer this is unacceptable!
