I’m totally noobing it up when playing online for MCC. Death has become my best friend.
Is there any tips anyone can offer for me to help me be a better halo player? I know head shots are desirable because it does more damage. My accuracy does need improvement.
Besides accuracy, what should I focus on to really put me on the map and be a reliable teammate/player? It is frustrating knowing I don’t offer much help to my teammates, and a few let me know.

I would suggest looking up BBKdragoon on youtube - lots of good hits and tips.
Other than that, try to work out the weapon shots to kill etc.
Precision guns:- Remember, shots to pop shields can go anywhere only the last shot has to be to the head. (So typical BR is 3 body shots + 1 head shot to kill).
Automatics:- are not headshot capable - you just got to fill the guy with lead. (Remember range of the different weapons too - automatics are useless at distance)
Get the power weapons
Stay nearby to teammates - don’t try to lonewolf.
Lower look sensitivity to help accuracy - most pros use 3 to 5.
Of course, you may just be useless at Halo (like me!) but you can still have fun. When the game is working better it will match you with players closer to your skill - right now everything is all over the shop.
Always and I mean always carry a BR. It is the best all around weapon. A good habit to get into is 3 to the chest and the 4th shot to the head. Strafe!!! Seriously try to be as random as possible. Short strafe for tight and close areas, long for distance.

I didn’t know about the shot count to kills either. I’ll practice hitting 3 body and 4th head with strafing. Thank you Jombi!
