What in the world is strongholds? Just saw that it is a new game type being implemented in week 3 of the beta and id like to know what exactly it is? Anyone have an idea? Really hoping for large scale play.
I don’t think 343i have released any information about strongholds. Probably going to be some sort of objective gametype because it would be the only one released in the beta.
If I had to take an educated guess, it would be something VERY similar to what you see in Destiny… The three plot king of the hill thing.
I’m guessing some new form of Dominion.
Would like to see an Invasion (Halo reach) style gametype. Was literally my favourite gametype of any game so far…
I think there was a small clip in one of the more recent trailers. Seems to be Domination/3 Plot
With the name,I would guess it would be something like taking control of an area like king of the hill.but it remains in the same space.
