*Dan:*It was a little too easy to destroy Players’ main HQs, the focus in Strongholds should be about the Strongholds themselves. This is a small measure to try and alleviate the issue and we will be monitoring the effectiveness.

Really? this wasn’t the change the mode needed. you even say so yourselves. the focus of strongholds should be the strongholds themselves. you say this is to alleviate the issue? i can 100% tell you now it wont. its only going to take slightly longer to kill the base. the right solution is to just make the HQ’s Immune to all forms of damage including the turrets. so that way you can also help curb Spawn killing. i said in my old thread on this issue. strongholds and dominations HQ’s should be immune so if players want to win. they have to play the objective. like in halo 5 you wouldn’t go into a game of CTF expecting to be able to win by just killing the other team. NO you expect to capture the enemy teams flag multiple times if you want to win. Same deal here.
the Attitude should be
Want to win strongholds? capture.Hold and protect more strongholds then your opponent when the timer runs out.
Want to win domination? Capture and hold the spires to score points to win.
you should not be able to be handed a win for destroying the enemy teams bases in a objective game mode.
You have week til this update drops so you have time to change this to making the HQ’s in BOTH strongholds and domination immune to damage.
Leave deathmatch as is as the point of that mode IS to destroy the enemy teams bases.
