So first off I would like to say i’m enjoying the beta for the most part, some things get to me but that’s just me not being able to play newer shooters so well since I got a job 6 months ago,
Now onto the topic, Strongholds.
I thought it would have been similar to Dominion (Which I enjoyed a lot) without looking into it before my first match, and I was wrong, after the match started it seemed to me to fit the more common Domination gametype in other FPS games, though it seems to have more of a twist, you only get points if you got 2 or more objectives, which got to me as it kind of makes it difficult to even come close to the other team’s score if you were being slaughtered early on in the match. (lel git gud) That is really my main issue with the gametype after my first match and I would like to ask if others have any other pros or cons with the gametype.
P.S. The AR seems to have lower damage since the last time I played (4 days or so) Might be my imagination I don’t know.
I really like it, but maybe that’s because I’m getting insanely lucky with good teammates
It’s like Crazy King/Territories with a spin. Everyone saying this is copying CoD doesn’t know what they’re talking about. Territories have been in Halo since H2.

That’s why I said with a twist
I never got the chance to play to play territories as I started playing XBL at the end of Halo 3’s “Lifespan” before Reach came out and was a big teamslayer player then. I’m more of a breakout player but i’ll give strongholds another try when i’m not so tired.

> I liked Dominion better.
Dominion is more of a BTB gametype. Strongholds is like a competitive 4v4 gametype.
I feel Dominion will return for BRB.
If you solo queue Strongholds, you’re going to have a bad time. I learned this the hard way.
