Recent intel shows 343i is using modified REACH engine, that means something happen.
I think Halo 4 environment would be extremely bigger, have the weather system.
How can they did it with REACH Engine?
The Reach engine hasn’t been used to it’s fullest potential, plus they DID say it’s been MODIFIED, who knows what 343 has done with it.
The Reach engine is pretty damn strong, sure Reach was the best looking FPS on the market, but it did offer the most features such as theater mode. Hell Halo 3 pioneered that years before any one else. It wasn’t until black ops that another FPS offered such features.

Crysis 1 did it first.
But yea like you said, it’s PRETTY strong, and I can’t wait to see what 343 does with it. Hell, they even have CORRINE YU on the team! They’re gonna work wonders with it.
where were you guys 3 days ago? Reach is halo 3’s engine but upgraded. Halo3 is halo 2’s engine but upgraded, etc.
They are just doing like usual for a halo game, the engine will be totally different when the upgrades are done
