Already quite a lot of topics on this. Some community members and press were allowed early access. It’s good for PR / Marketing, showing the game runs ok and genrating a bit more excitement. Only a few more days to wait, no biggie

Yeah this, and if you want to remain spoiler free I’d suggest NOT looking at any of that and watching where you click on everything, even these forums have a spoiler slip up by a member here and there. Although the mods have been on top of that which I thank them for.

Even if this is true, you wouldn’t be able to play it as your content would be locked, retail codes and copies are all locked until release date.

He has a legitimate copy as do I. We can play offline campaign. Online is a no-go
They have press copies. Why are people still freaking out about this? Many games have done this over the years.
They let them play it for early to get free advertising.
You’re late aren’t you? sigh YouTubers and famous people get review copies sent to them by 343i so they can be showcased to others within a restricted form of course. This is purely to appeal to people that are curious about the game play and may/may not appear “spoilerific”. These review copies are also legitimate retail copies as well and can be used at full capacity.
Yeah reviewers and community influences (Streamers, youtubers etc.) get early access. It’s pretty common nowadays with the internet basically chocking the life out of paper gaming magazine.
How are you guys getting early physical copies? I’d kill to have access to the campaign now, but I have to wait to pick it up from Gamestop on Tuesday.
