Strange glitch- has this happened to anyone else?

I was recently messing around on MCC, and decided to play some ODST campaign missions. I went onto the level select screen, and it said that all of the missions had been completed Solo Legendary. I then got the achievements for beating the game on Heroic and Legendary. Only problem is, I hadn’t beaten any of the missions on legendary- I’ve only ever played through it on normal. Is this a common thing? I’ve never experienced a glitch like this before, where I randomly get achievements for something I’ve never done in a game.

Hasn’t happened to me, but I’m not surprised it’s on ODST. The game’s set up a lot differently than the others because of the Mombasa Streets sections, and I’ve had troubles with the game crashing (pre-update). What’s interesting is that it says all your missions besides the first have been completed with the exact same time. I’m curious if anyone else has experienced it, since it’s something I’ve never even heard of.

I’ve heard of this “positive glitch” happening before but it’s very rare.

I have a few levels completed with a time of 1:40:39. I think that’s a default time that gets posted if a player takes too long, plays over multiple sessions, or simply does something to confuse the game in some way. I’m curious how it chooses that specific value though.

I haven’t played through ODST since the MCC was fixed back in fall 2018. I’ll have to go check it out and see what I find.

I think it’s a known issue.

It’s a known issue. Take a read through the achievements thread for more details.

This has happened to several people before, and I believe it is a known issue.
