Strange FPS Behaviour In Menus

Hey everyone,

So just reaching out to see if anyone else is seeing this.

For context, I have two monitors, and as I type this message on my other monitor, Halo Infinite reports 102 FPS on the menu.

But the moment I click back into the game, the menu FPS performance drops to 40, then 30, then > 20, resulting in a jarring experience.

These dips only occur when the Halo Infinite window is selected/in use—interested to see if anyone else has had this odd issue?

UPDATE: This does not occur in windowed mode, only borderless fullscreen. Suspect it may be G-Sync Related

Im seeing the same, nvidia 3080 user here. Also some maps get me huge fps drops that resolve alone… im talking 144fps to 40fps…

Hope 343 acknowledge this… Latest nvidia driver here.
