When I play Halo:MCC on my laptop, I experience very a strange audio problem that is quiet difficult to describe. It sometimes sounds like the audio is very low bitrate and other times it sounds like most of the audio is missing or heavily muffled. This problem does not affect my desktop PC.
This problem occurs both in the main menu and in gameplay. I’ve noticed that the problem starts as soon as I press enter on the title screen.
I have captured a video to demonstate the problem here: - YouTube
Can anyone help shed some light on this issue? I know that there are audio issues that 343 are currently working on fixing, but I haven’t seen anyone report this kind of audio problem as of yet.
I have tried the usual troubleshooting steps of reinstalling the game, updating Windows and graphics drivers.
