Strange achievement glitch

I just loaded up Halo 4 for the first time in ages.

As soon as the game finished loading up A message popped up say 27 achievements and about 720gamerscore unlocked.

So I checked my achievements and basically most of the DLC achievements have all simultaneously unlocked.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Is this a glitch or as the game just played catchup with previously bugged achievments?

Same with me. After I played CS:GO demo, I loaded up Halo 4 and told me that I unlocked 21 achievements.

343 released a patch a few weeks ago that unlocked all the previously glitched achievements for all the people who met the requirements but got no achievement.

Not that I’m complaining, but I don’t recall ever playing on a Castle map, let alone getting achievements for it.

Oh well. Just have to save a bunch of Marines to max this game out.

Same happened to my except I only got 2 or 3 achievement. I guess I had already gotten the other ones.

if you’re talking about the Spartan Ops on Hard mode achievement, the Hacksaw mission (which you need to do that achievement) is quite often available to play on Live. That’s what I did and it was made super easy.

Sounds like it’s just catch-up.
