Hey everyone! So I feel now is the perfect time for me to finally start production on a zombie machinima I have been working on for quite some time. I am sending this casting call out to look for voice actors, but I am also looking for body actors as well. Below I will have a short description of what the machinima is about and then under that will be some auditions lines and a small description of each character as well.
The story starts off in a transport ship with a couple speaking to one another when suddenly over the intercoms, the captains alerts everyone of some small engine trouble, but assures everyone that it will be fixed soon. Miles, one of the main characters says that he should go and see if he can help, but right as he begins to speak, an explosion cuts him off mid sentence, and his wife, Karol, becomes scared. We then see an infected person aboard, with guards shooting it and other people aboard the ship being killed as well as the guards and some other infected. Push comes to shove and Miles eventually escapes via a Hornet, but Karol is not with him… His ship also happens to crash back onto the planet he and his wife had gotten saved from. Eventually Miles does meet a mysterious fellow shortly after his crash.
Now with a short plot summary out of the way, now its time for a little character background.
Miles- In the beginning Miles is just like any other guy, but after what had happened to his wife, Karol, he quickly became a different person and is not all there anymore, you could say. Very dramatized.
Karol- Sweet, loving character. Although, she does begin to terrorize Miles for not being able to save her and ultimately drives him insane.
Mystery Man- For the sake of the story, we will refer to him as mystery man. This character is just as normal as anyone else, but a little cocky in certain situations and very unaffected by the world he now lives in( the zombie outbreak) and thinks killing infected is very enjoyable, so a little sadistic at that.
Hopefully the character bios have helped you get some idea of what the characters are envisioned to be like. Now, I would like for you to chose any character you want and go ahead and audition for that role! [IMG] Miles is male, Karol is female, and Mystery Man is also a male (just in case some are confused). Below will be some auditions lines for you to record and take your time with them. "I’m sorry you had to see that, I just wish we could have made it to the transport sooner.” - sorrowful
[Struggling to stand]“Ughh… Damn it. [Frustrated] Why did I have to end up back here…”
“The infected… are they in there?”
[In pain] “Ahh! I’m trying… Be more gentle…”
“AHHH -Yoink-! DIE DAMN IT!” - Shooting frantically at infected
“Alright good, I need a break…”
“That would be great actually, my leg is pretty banged up.”
Karols’ Audition Lines
“Its not your fault, I just wish we could have taken more of our friends with us. It doesn’t feel right.”
- sadness, and longing
“Oh my god, what was that?!” - Very scared
[Distressed] “Oh my god Miles… What are we going to do?!”
[Crys]“Oh god we are going to die…”
“MAKE. IT. STOP!”
“Miiiilllleeesss” - Very ominous or ghostly like

"HEY! What are you doing?! Are you stupid?
“Let’s just say you wouldn’t be alive anymore.”
"Sorry about that… You had some nasty crash there… I saw it happen from afar… Are you okay?
[Annoyed]“Hey man, what’s going on with you?” Who’s Karol?"
“Whoa, hold your fire. I got this.” -sees an infected
“After everything that has happened since the outbreak, there has to be some enjoyment. Keeps me sane.”
Note: There is a lot of cursing and some violence so if any of you are not okay with this, please let me know.
Alright everyone so with all those out of the way, I would like to discuss deadlines and other dates as well as who I am looking for in regards to the machinima. First thing is body actors. I will need a pretty decent size amount of body actors for the ship scene where everything goes from being okay to going crazy within a matter of seconds. I would like to say around 10-15 players for this as I will need some for passengers, infected, and guards, as well as dead bodies through out the ship.
Second would be dates for body acting sessions. Ideally I would like to host the body acting sessions this coming Saturday-Monday as it is a three day weekend for most which will be hosted at 12:00 PM Mountain Standard Time or MST. Third would be deadlines for the auditions; As of right now there are no deadlines so you don’t have to worry about when they are due. I will let you know in advance when deadlines will occur.
