This has always drove me nuts since Halo 2 went offline… Where the hell did the FFA slayer playlist go? Why does it no longer exist? It is hands down the most basic gametype. A staple of nearly every arena shooter, yet both Halo 3 and Reach failed to deliver a FFA slayer playlist. No, lone wolves does not count, and neither does rumble pit as they both have objective gametypes in them as well. As I’ve gotten older it’s been harder and harder to get a group of friends together and I’m sick of having to play with randoms in team games to get straight slayer.
Anyone else agree that Halo 4 needs a straight slayer FFA playlist?
I’ll agree with you here. However, other people enjoy playing FFA objective so it’s gotta either be a very slim option when voting or a completely different playlist.
The thing is, Halo has gained many playlists since halo 2. While that may seem like a great thing, there are some negatives. The biggest one is the splitting of the community. Halo players are already spread out amongst all the playlists so if 343 split up rumble pit into ffa slayer and ffa objective that could potentially split the ffa community in half
It would be really awesome if they included a “Classic FFA” Playlist that only features just straight Slayer with BR starts and no “perks”, “loadouts”, or “AA’s”
It would be a nice addition for the players that just want to play some classic Halo slayer who dont need to worry about all the new changes being put into Halo 4.
