anyone else feel strafing is next to useless? I feel like we could do with a base movement speed buff, would also help when you are being team shot as people rarely miss
It’s not so much the base movement speed’s fault as it is the unnecessary amount of aim-assist and bullet magnetism most weapons in Halo 5 have. It needs to be reduced, because at the moment the game pretty much hits your shots for you that should have missed.

Strafing is what made halo a superior fps, at least it could allow people to break out of heavy aim assist, I feel like speed boost speed should be default and no sprint

You’re kidding me? There are major differences between ranks.
Also people in Platinum have absolutely no good movement at all so yeah it does make a difference. If you went into an onyx game it’s guaranteed that your accuracy would be poor.

It doesn’t matter if your bronze or onyx I will still be able to aim at you as there is no strafe In the game hence why team shotting and hiding behind your butt boy gives you a higher rank learn to read and apply your mind you fool
What I’ve noticed in a lot of the HCS stuff is that they never really try to strafe, my friends and I came to the conclusion that the reason is at that level you’re going to die in to a precision weapon in about a perfect or 1-2 shots off of it, so its better to work in a way were your aim is improved to get the kill faster. Basically at high levels there is no strafing you’re dead anyways its not going to throw off the enemies aim, use other methods to dodge, however this said down to stuff like gold league and below strafe to your hearts content because at that level it will throw off their aim and it will work a lot better.
