Halo Infinite gameplay albeit some personal issues such as the aim assist lacking it’s pretty tight. My main issue…are the physics and technicalities of this game. So my questions are :
-
Friendly fire is still not here…why? You took off player collision (still don’t like that idea) but my grenade can bounce off teammates? Wheres the consistency… And also it’s stuff like this that would punish potential nade spam as well as create immersive gameplay. Oh your friend is in danger, you’re telling them to back up into cover and you run to the rescue as you cross each other while being very aware of positioning and you can’t just haphazardly shoot or throw a grenade less you risk killing them. This is also another thing that just makes Halo slightly closer to another cookie cutter FPS game.

Strafe speed: does anyone feel that it’s too fast or as if it looks unnatural the way the spartans move? Doesn’t help that aim assist on controller doesn’t do much to compensate but compared Halo 3, Reach and 4 there’s something VERY bizarre about how twitchy it looks. Definitely needs more frames to slow it down.

Grenade Jumping I don’t know if it takes a video from Act Man or Mint Blitz to address why Grenade Jumping should be back…but that shouldnt be the case. This among other things is what added to how funny and authentic the physics and Halo can(should) be. Hell it can either inadvertently save you, kill you, or just create a funny moment. You have the explosion physics affecting heavy as hell vehicles…but not a little human? Cmon now.
