Since there are so many Halo books that I’ve heard are going to be brought together in Halo4 will fans that have not read the books be able to catch up on what we have missed by maybe giving us a small peace of what happened in the books? Not sure if I worded that right. Will we be able to play the game and understand everything, but only be limited to the connection of Halo3 to Halo4?

I’m pretty sure the books are just going to fill in the blanks for people who had questions about Halo 4. Explanations and back stories, not exactly necessary.
