First off, I love halo. Really REALLY love halo, have done since CE, and played every halo game released. But I have a problem.I have absolutely no idea what the hell is going on.
I find the story so bloody hard to follow. It all makes sense while I’m playing it, but if you were to ask me the day adder I finished it what happened I seriously wouldn’t be able to tell you.
Am I the only one who feels like this? Is there any easy way of recapping what happened? Oh god I’m confused!
I have no problem with the story at all.

Personally, I thought the story was easy to follow and enjoyed it a lot.
This wasnt a troll…this was a genuine attempt at trying to start a discussion that had nothing to do with bolt shots or dmrs or load outs or the usual bollocks on this forum…
Anyway the point I’m trying to make is if you asked me what happened in ANY of the previous halo games I’d really struggle to tell you

>Pay attention to the story then instead of skipping it to the next shooting part

don’t make the games based on the books that only makes things worse.

LOL what? You actually had a hard time following the story? You’re kidding me right?
I got my girlfriend Halo 4 when it released because she liked halo reach so much. She absolutely had NO problem following the story. She is brand new to video games, like literally just started playing games in the last year, and is brand new to the halo series. You had a hard time following the story? I don’t… know what to tell you. I truly don’t.
the story telling from 343 is really lacking.
i hope they do a better job with h5.

You’re not the only one man. 343i made the story very vague at times and I’m not sure why. Some things just happen during the campaign and are not explained at all. The first couple Halos were much more straightforward and I loved them for their simplicity. I’ve played all the campaigns multiple times, read all of the books, and I still couldn’t tell you what all happened in the Halo 4 campaign. It makes me really appreciate other novels for their storytelling when comparing them to the Halo Universe.
