Sorry if this has been seen before. I haven’t been around this website for a while. On the Halo Waypoint games section, there is a quick description for each game. For Halo 5 I quote the following “Peace is shattered when colony worlds are unexpectedly attacked. But when humanity’s greatest hero goes missing, a new Spartan is tasked with hunting the Master Chief and solving a mystery that threatens the entire galaxy.”
Now we know Locke is looking for Chief but, “Peace is shattered when colony worlds are unexpectedly attacked”, surely that is a story hint? I’m not good on Halo lore, but some of you guys are. Anything significant about this?

This is pretty well known if you keep up with the Halo: Escalation Dark Horse comics. 343 has said that those comics ARE the events that take place right after Halo4 and spartan ops.

Really? Locke said that he is trying to bring chief back to the UNSC, not kill him. Maybe its a front, and Locke is telling Arbiter that because he needs his help, and know’s he will not help, maybe kill Locke. Maybe Arbiter will save Chief from Locke. Overall I think Locke isn’t bad though
