Every Mythic has a story. Just about every Mythic has someone special who uses it. Mythic weapons are used by the Arbiter, Kelly, Linda, Buck, and more. But who uses the SPNKr Prime? The only clue is the ODST symbol on the weapon. My guess is that the SPNKr Prime is used by Mickey. Mickey’s secondary color for his ODST armor was red. Mickey also used the Rocket Launcher a lot. My question to all of you is who do you think uses the SPNKr Prime? Could it be Mickey or another character, or just a weapon used by ODST Specialists?

I read New Blood, it’s one of my favorite books. But I was wondering if they added the SPNKr Prime to the lore as well.

I wish I knew what the story was for the SPNKr Prime was, and regardless of Mickey joining the insurrection or not, It’s the best theory I’ve seen.

To be honest I think it simply deserves a mythic spot for being an iconic classic weapon the same way the H2 BR and H1 Pistol do, or at least it’s the way they went about it. The only difference being the Mythic Spnkr being a bad -Yoink- version of itself.
The red accents to SPNKR Prime seem to indicate that it might be a callback to Halo 1 and 2, which also had red accents in the same spots.
I love to personally believe it’s the rocket launcher that chief used to blow the engine cores on the Pillar of Autumn to escape the original halo.
There’s absolutely no lore backing this, but it makes my halo soul feel great believing it lol.
I like to think it’s the player’s spartan’s weapon, everything is canon, makes sense to me.
Considering how fast it flies, the damage it does, and the bump in jump height, it feels a lot like the Halo CE rocket launcher which was a really bad as rocket launcher IMO.

Yeah it’s supposed to be the CE launcher, but buffed even more
It has an ODST emblem located on the main body of the weapon, so maybe it’s intended to be Mickey’s.

Chief technically has two Mythics… The H2 BR and the CE Magnum,

It’s also called the SPNKr Prime, and prime can basically mean first, and Halo: Combat Evolved was the first game, so… take that as you will.
Oh my lord, you guys really never played much multiplayer on Halo CE. The rocket launcher on that game is extremely slow, slower than the current standardized rocket launchers, and it has the same hitbox as a grenade.
I really doubt the SPNKr Prime is a reference to Chief overloading the Pillar of Autumns’ engine cores, as using grenades is an alternative option for that part of the mission.
And the definition of “Prime” as an adjective is “of first importance, main,” and “of the best quality, excellent.” It does not mean “One.”

I’ve never seen this particular livestream, and I would appreciate a link. If it is a throwback, why would they increase the firepower and double the travel speed? They could just buff the rocket physics (to the point of the Halo 2 Sputnik skull) and give you increased shields, rather than making it an insanely strong anti personnel and vehicle weapon.

It is not worth $10!!! Of course not, I already got the SPNKr Prime Certification before Month of Mythic.
Okay, so now we know that it’s supposed to be like the CE Rocket Launcher, but who do you think it belongs to?
