I dread this map. I like Noctus and Raid on Apex the best because I feel they are the most balanced. Noctus is a map you rarely see a triple cap and each base is pretty good to spawn on. Raid on Apex is the best because of the flanks and ability to turn the game. It’s the only map were you feel you still have a chance after getting triple capped. Escape from Arc is good for fun action gameplay, but you can get easily triple capped and spawn trapped which I do not like. Overall I’d say it’s slightly worse because of that fact, but it’s not terrible. Then there’s Stormbreak which feels like the map you get BS spawns, shot in the back, and stupid gunfights at weird angles. It should really be called Standoff because no one moves unless they have a pack of 5 players under headglitches protecting them. #VetoStormbreak2016
Also, 343 please add more warzone maps. It’s annoying when there are four maps and you hate one of them.
Honestly, I don’t have a problem with the map itself, but the bosses and where they are located. If you take the fortress and kill lochagos in the beginning, you have a 85%+ to win the game. Not to mention it’s almost guaranteed someone on the enemy team will just quit when they see him dead.
And then THREE additional bosses spawn out in the back of the fortress, including a legendary.
Idk, the boss spawns seem much crappier then any of the other maps I’ve played. Lochagos should NOT spawn in the fortress. He should be out back in the ice caves or something, anything. Have two hunters in the fortress or something at the start. A 150 VP boss right in the beginning is stupid.
Ugh, I HATE Stormbreak. There’s just not enough room for vehicles, and it’s too easy to get hijacked because of the minimal space there is in that map. (That’s not the only reason why I hate it, but I’m too lazy to list some more)

Completely agree with what you said about 150 VP bosses. It just gives the other team a head-start, and once they’ve killed Lochagos, you can guarantee that they’ve probably already won the game.

So true, people just appear out of no where because of the cover on the map and spawn system. I really do not like how spawns work on this map.

Don’t even get me started on the spawning in that map.
The problem I have with it is boss spawns. Whoever captures the Fortress gets a huge advantage when it comes to bosses. Lochagos spawns inside, and Captain Wamik and the Wraith Officer spawn on the Loading Dock. They also have another vehicle spawn. The Fortress itself seems badly designed to me. Too many levels in there makes it hard to navigate. Escape from ARC is bad, Stormbreak is worse in my opinion.

I agree. If the boss spawns were to be fixed I think this map would flow better for both teams.
yes I think so. The fortress is SO hard to capture from the other team. I also enjoy the initial fight for it tho. Its so annoying trading the West and East armories back and forth between teams. Also the boss spawns aren’t great. If there was an entrance to the fortress from the area where Warden Eternal spawns, I think then maybe the fortress would be easier to take and would make this a better map.
I really like Stormbreak, but totally agree about the fact that whoever gets Lochagos has a high probability of winning the game. But I’ve been on winning teams more than once where “they” got Lochagos but “we” won the game.
Yeah, March on Stormbreak is probably the worst. The vehicle combat is restricted to basically one cramped straight line down the center of the map and one cramped side road. Spawning a slow-moving vehicle in Fortress is a death sentence because you have nowhere to go but directly into the action (that is, if you’re not immediately hijacked from above). And you’re essentially boned if you don’t have two bases. By far the hardest to make a comeback on.
Raid on Apex 7 is my second least favorite because of how atypically set up it is for Warzone. You start the match outside of your home base and have to hunt down fleeing Covenant before you can cap bases, but people like to run straight for the bases and leave the home base uncapped for too long. Then the Spire has two Hunters that have to be cleared out before you can cap it, but all anyone has is an AR, Magnum, and frags, so it ends up being one team sending waves of dying players whittling down their health until the enemy team comes and cleans them up. I also hate the lighting on the map. The brightness is turned up way higher than it reasonably should be. It makes everyone’s armor look even more overly vivid than it normally is. Makes everything all plastic-looking and fake.
