Sorry if this is old news but I was over at HaloUNITY and someone linked an article which confirms the Covenant faction’s name in Halo 4 is simply “Storm”. The article is interesting as well
a part of that article is wrong humans and covenant never had a truce only and the humans and the elites had a truce and suppose some grunts too since some of them split with the elites, but thats probably what they mean.

Also this seems like a minor leak and now I feel that a bit of the story has been spoiled(just a smidge of it). Nice info but can you put a mild spoiler warning for other people please.

A leak? No I don’t think so but I will definitely spoil it for you
So, they are the Covenant still following the long-dead Prophets? Anybody else read Glasslands, for I don’t want to post spoilers.
In Glaslands, there was a rogue and very malicious group of Elite’s, although the name escapes me, and they were hell-bent on killing the Arbiter. Suffice to ask, would those Elite’s be part/leaders of the Storm?

Who knows? I’m willing to be that Telcam may be involved.
It’s very possible that 'Telcam may end up betraying ONI. Look at Afghanistan, the Mujahideen were armed by the US to stop the Soviets yet when they accomplished their goals, radicals elements in their group became the Taliban and al-Queda and struck back against the US.
'Telcam could use the weapons ONI gave them to strike against humanity.

Very possible and plausible. We will probably find out in the game

I’m going by Swift’s policy, don’t wanna spoil anything
Seeing how much OXM has gotten wrong in the past, I’m really hoping they are wrong in this regard. I don’t doubt that “Storm” is the name of this Splinter group of Covenant, but if an Elites have actually sided with the Prophets after Halo 2/3, I think I may loose faith in 343.
