The Storm Covenant is a faction split from the new peaceful Covenant and carries over the Prophets idealogy and religion. The goal of the Storm on Requiem is to pursue a powerful weapon guarded by the Prometheans, who will kill Covenant or Humanity to protect it. And we all know that this “powerful weapon” is obviously a Halo Ring.

It going to relate to the rings, but it won’t be a ring unless they plan to try to fire them again… GD* covies doing it again…

Maybe the weapon is some powerful disintegration weapon that can destroy warships or even planets.

Main menu did show a ring orbiting requiem, though I doubt that’s what they’re protecting.
