Stories from the perspective of Insurrectionists

This is something I would like to see more of in the halo franchise.

It doesn’t have to be about them fighting the UNSC pre Covenant War or after. They also fought the Covenant to during the war (sometimes helping the UNSC), and I think it is likely that post-war, some Insurrectionists have had trouble with covenant remnants.

Do you want to see a story(s) that is basically just from the perspective of the Innies instead of UNSC forces or Covenant?

I would like to see a story about the crew of the…

A former (and old) UNSC ship that the Innies got there hands on. It did participate in some conflicts in the Covenant War, and I wonder if it was eventually destroyed before the end of the war, or if the Innies still have control of it post war.

I agree. I want a book similar to Halo: Broken Circle, but from the point of view of Lyrenne Castilla and her band of Insurrectionists. Start from the beginning when they decided it was time to secede from the UEG, show her encounter with Preston Cole and how they fell in love and then finally show us where she went after she faked her death. Wherever she is, she and her people have the resources to refit old UNSC ships as well as design and construct brand new ships of their own design. I really want to know more about this mystery colony and it would be neat to see how they started this colony, what went through their heads when Castilla decided to aid the UNSC against the Covenant in two separate battles and what they are up to post-War.

Codename: SURGEON theorizes that Admiral Cole had faked his death so that he could find his wife after he discovered she was still alive. I know the UNSC is interested in finding him, which would most likely involve finding this colony. Perhaps the story could show them doing just that?
