Store update from Jerry Hook. Changes incoming

At the moment it’s not good enough. I still have plenty of content blocked behind a 2nd paywall and have very little to do and 343i still haven’t apologised about what they claimed about the progression system. If they want praising so badly they need to make major changes. Currently right now there not helping their case by still not making items earnable and the lack of content is still disturbing. It kind of reminds me of when people defended the minor increase xp…which was not good enough and was to be blunt pretty bad.

So far there current plans and general handling of Infinite at the moment is not encouraging me to want to play Infinite for quite a while until 343i make major changes to the way they handle the IP. As I’ve said before in these forums all there doing is pushing me back to MCC and my backlog of games.

I still believe the game should been delayed and at the moment all I seem to be hearing is people telling me to just have to faith in what 343i claims there going to do despite not actually trusting them at the moment due to their recent behaviour.

I agree, just turned in enough points to buy Code Vein Deluxe Edition for £12. I’m going to get far more value out of that £12 over any of Halo Infinites current offerings. There is better value out there than Halo Infinite at this time imo.

That would be like buying something at walmart and asking for money back when the price drops. Credits are no exception.

Jokes on Walmart. I bought out their entire store. Come Black Friday they’re going to owe me a lot of money!!!

This right here. They didn’t even have to reduce the prices at all, giving us a way to earn ingame credits would do the same thing and it would allow f2p players to feel like they’re earning content

With a 60 dollar price tag on the game there shouldn’t be a shop.

There is a 30day price change protection policy through Microsoft.

Can you quote it? If I can get some credits, I’d like to know where to look.

Haha - yes I used to spend my MS points on the morning coffee before work. Well, four coffees at Neros was better than nothing. Didn’t quite last the whole month though.

Hope they add Proximity Chat soon and possibly a update reward for those who beat the Campaign in Legendary other than an achievement and a dialogue ending.
Where my Security armor lol

“package and price” are huge keywords, as that directly implies they’re taking a look at not only their pricing, but their methods of bundling as well.

This is subjective, but if they come to the conclusion that charms/emblems aren’t even a 1/4th as valuable as they think they are and decide to not calculate them in a bundle’s value, and start putting real armor and visors (or decent coatings, again subjectively) in their stead to balance it out, they’ll have my attention.

Okay everybody - to everyone that hasn’t bought anything from the shop yet…

Keep holding.

They were always going to drop the price when a bunch of shrewd individuals said no.

They will do it again if you say no again.

Twenty dollars was their entry price giving them a ballooned profit. Their break even price will be way lower.

Hold out people and think about value and don’t let the excitement blind your senses.

Be cool!

Not credits, actual money, it’s a standard return policy.

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/storedocs/terms-of-sale

If I don’t completely misread this document, this policy only applies to hardware sales.

Oh okay. Guess it’s golden then.

Oh god -Yoink!-. I don’t like reading long jargon.

It hurts my head. I’ll probably have to read the entire thing.

While it is worded that way yes, there is precedent of users quoting it to get digital reimbursement as well on answers.Microsoft.

You’ve also covered by the 14 day digital return policy as well, but that’s mainly to cover entire games, but can be used on currency purchases as well.

Don’t they have a tl;dr?

Can we normalize adding tl;drs to terms of agreement or whatever?

I think there may be legal issues with that. A ToS agreement assumes that you read its entirety when you accept the terms. Providing a TL;DR would nullify that.

Thank you 343! Look, y’all are gonna see player count go up and up the more you implement what players want in the game, and that can do nothing but help your shop. We want you to make money, but we want a fun Halo experience too. Anything that gets in the way of that is in our crosshairs. But these aren’t mutually exclusive. Anything that makes a better Halo experience is going to make y’all money. Remove these controversies, every last one of them. Again, thank you Jerry Hook, thank you 343
