Store still not good enough, sorry

Why was anyone expecting any less?

We’ve seen their levels of greed, their disrespect and their disconnect from the community. I looked and couldn’t even tell if they had been reduced or not, as the prices were still so ridiculous.

A leopard doesn’t change its spots.

Bingo.

I hate how shallow and fickle people are these days. No one takes a stand on principle.

Suckers with short attention spans will be spending more than ever because they see pretty pictures.

This is our sad reality.

You have next week as well for the event

It wouldn’t be a hard one, yes, but they have much bigger issues on their plate right now, Desynch and Cheaters are making the game almost unplayable for many

That’s still not fair

which pack is that? or do you count armor, weapon and vehicle coatings as different items? yknow the crap that should just be universal?

i like how people like you can only think in 2 extreme sides. either the store is perfect or everything needs to be free and unlocked from the start. cant even think of some kinda middle point

Dude it’s only the first week of multiple store updated calm down Jesus Christ, y’all complain too much I swear to God

And it seems like no matter how shady things are some people try to rationalise any shady thing as being ok and then acting like others are being irritational. The F2P should have been part of the main game as a paid full game and no the prices are not reasonable and in fact from a gaming/dev point of view I find them insulting. Many studio’s right now are trying their best and then there’s studio’s like 343i that are clearly exploiting. Seriously me wonder why anyone would defend this and no we are not getting our money’s worth in any sense.

Oh, and for those of you curious, this ended up being true. Check out this tweet by Unyshek.

Make sure to connect the HTT and the PS though.

It’s called feedback. I’m very calm thankyou just stated my opinion and what I believe the store needs, not to mention 343 ask for us to leave feedback.

I wasn’t mean or rude, I just said the store still isnt good enough and gave examples how to improve it.

The store is in a great position now compared to other games. It’s almost identical to the largest sailing cosmetic game with price which is fortnite.

As long as they keep producing good set everything will be fine.

Mark V armor is only for Halo reach. Whatever isn’t in the game pass should be sold with sets in store as well. With it being completely different armor cores I’m fine with it not being interchangeable.

They have the colors universal, now we need the visors, and effects.

There is significant improvement and they keep working with us. If you are so butt hurt for a free game that feels good, looks good, and plays good. Then go talk to your mom.

I would definitely consider the recent revision of the store’s prices to be better than they were before, but compared to other games? This store is laughable. It offers so little for so much right now, but hopefully that’ll change soon.

In terms of price though, a single bundle of armor (with added flair, like duplicate emblems and an armor coating) is about as expensive as a skin/backpack/pickaxe/etc bundle in Fortnite, but offers less for the money if we’re going by Fortnite’s typical bundling.

That much is true. As long as they start releasing better sets moving forward, their store situation will be solid.

The Mark V [B] variant did indeed originate from Halo Reach.

Whatever isn’t in the game pass (the “battlepass” as it’s called in the menus) should probably wind up in the store, but some of those items should definitely be considered for placement in alternative obtainment methods.

As a consumer, not only are you benefitted by cores being cross compatible, but it also adds significant value to everything in the store. It’s fine that you don’t mind having it or not, to each their own, but your indifference is a pretty useless point to make.

Colors are not universal.

They’re currently separated in three ways: Between specific Armor Cores, between specific Weapons, and between a specific Vehicles.

Your weapon coating won’t go on your Spartan, just like your Spartan’s armor coating won’t go to their other armor. None of those coatings work on your vehicles, as each vehicle uses a different kind of paint for some reason.

However, I digress. We do need universal effects and visors just as much as the colors, I completely agree.

Absolutely true, they’ve done an incredible job of not ignoring us so far.

I’m not butthurt, but I’ll talk to my mom anyways, because I love my mom :]

MCC has free armors so any and all bs to defend the predatory macro transactions can be flushed down the drain.

And this is what we call a weak attempt at whiteknighting macro transactions…

Warframe has gone a bit overboard with their monetized cosmetics, but I wouldn’t go so far as to call it predatory, at least not any more than any other Free-2-Play game. If anything it’s exhausting. I think where 343i can learn from Warframe is in the incentives they give to keep players engaged:

There are cosmetics that can only be acquired by playing the game (i.e. completing missions and advancing the story)

There are cosmetics that can only be acquired through the store with premium currency

The devs have allowed players to run their own trading economy where anyone can trade prime parts for premium currency

They frequently give away free cosmetics for logging in daily or logging in during certain holidays/events

There are an insane amount of customization options available to players, even if you have only acquired a few characters, attachments and color pallets. This is a bit of a double-edged sword. The amount of customization items that have been built up in the game is overwhelming, and a player could easily spend hours messing with the customization and never get around to actually playing the game. And of course, there is always something new to buy in the store so your options are either pay money or grind for prime items to trade for premium currency.

MCC is not a F2P game so there can do that.

halo infinite matchmaking is F2P game so you need to pay for it if you wane have then.

if there have done the same and make it not F2P then you can get then easy for free more but since its a F2P game you will end up with it.

Yeah I don’t think there should be a way to earn credits. That’s why it’s cosmetic extras.
Want it? Support the team
Don’t think it’s worth it? Get the free content

They already took a hurting cutting their prices to about 50% for some!

Technically I brought the campaign for £60 that’s the cost of other full games with a campaign, multiplayer and all the armor.

Issue is they charge to much with 0 way to earn a little for free.
