Store should be for brand new, cool stuff. like death animations, new armor, etc.
all the old armors should be part of the free content we were promised we could grind, and especially the reach armor, should all be in the battlepass. where is operator? hazop? military police? etc? where are emiles shoulders? how about carters?
im just disappointed
and on the topic of the store, ditch the fortnite rotating store. it sucks.
for instance, if you like the color white for all your other halo characters, but missed out on the week 1 shop, who knows when its coming back.
why not instead have a catalogue that is updated everyweek? this way we wont have to experience fomo, which, i was also under the impression halo infinite would not be doing
this game needs a lot of work but they are easy to fix, do the right thing

I think it’s baffling that MKVI armour is on the Battle Pass why is that not a default unlock?

The whole approach is baffling.
MK VII moved to the last 10% of the battlepass instead of default.
Overpriced bundles only with no individual purchases so that people are actually priced out of buying the one thing they want (bundles which are discounted overall give the illusion of value, but only if the individual pieces are sold separately for more. In bundling good stuff with filler crud they’re actually scaring more people).
Rotating store so if I liked that item they had yesterday but wasn’t online, too bad I can’t even buy it.
I don’t like the BP or store, but it’s free to play so I guess we gotta have it and that’s understandable. What’s not understandable is the approach with this design is built not to monetise the game via normal players, who would have spent $60+ on the full game at launch anyway if it wasn’t for f2p or have pass, but to trick whales and people who have impared impulse control (common amongst the neurodivergent & mentally ill) into spending way over the odds for filler content. THAT is inexcusable.
Weird thing is, the way the current store is set up I don’t even know if they’re gonna make back the money they would have made if it wasn’t free to play, and I hope they don’t because the current set up is predatory.

I fully agree it is very exploitative, also the situational challenges and the way you have to optimise when to use double exp boosts or challenge re-rolls is tedious. It is still too slow and you have to pick and choose what matches to play and when to use items and when to play the objective.
I think it does have a direct effect on the gameplay, Reach did it well with it’s system as it was integrated into how many medals you get and if you play the objective you get rewarded (rather than it not mattering). It wasn’t as contextual and particular about using x to get y amount of kills, or by playing x match y amount of times.
I honestly think it has a negative effect on team play and playing the objective. Especially when someone would rather be running down the opposite end of the map, looking for a weapon to get a certain amount of kills with, instead of helping the team with the objectives.
If you want to level up you have to complete the challenges so there will definitely be people playing just to complete their challenges and when you complete them you can level up roughly about 3-4 levels a day. Then after that you have to wait roughly a week or 6 days to be able to level up efficiently again.
I think having to wait another 6 days for more challenges to come around because you’ve completed them all for this week and are only getting 50xp a match is a bad system. I can understand why people are comparing it to the Reach system because it doesn’t scold you for playing more.
EFF death animations!!!
You want to add a bunch of ridiculous crap to your own Spartan, go ahead, but I can’t believe someone thought it was a good idea to allow people to pay to force seizure-inducing customizations onto other people.
They are doing it because Halo Reach is going offline so they are using it as a carrot. The fact that you want the gear is proof enough, but the sad thing is many will buy the gear and this will give them even more of a reason to put more of it in the shop later down the line.
Personally, I think 343 has hit a new low playing into the players weakness using it to their advantage. As a business, it’s a smart move, as a company it makes them look scummy.
So far what 343 has shown me is that they are treating this game like a “f2p looter shooter”, not that it has been or ever will be, and they have based this entire game around the shop in some form or another. The drip-feed content is used to stretch out the shop as long as they can with the overdone grind to keep that artificial playtime going that this game was never created for.
The overpricing is a clear sign they really don’t give a hoot about the player base. There is no arguing that, period. Because if they did the BS they are pulling right now wouldn’t be happening. knowing this is not a true F2p game that shops were actually intended for.
The BS that it’s Microsft pushing them to use the shop as they are, "that it was “Mandatory” for 343 to abuse the shop that some players try to use. I would love to see the actual contract and where it shows this knowing 343 was more than willing to sign that contract. Hell, even a link of 343 saying it’s “mandatory”, Anyone???
