You should be able to cite that claim
Oh boy another one of your kind⦠Hereās just what you need for those copium withdrawals youāll have in six months when youāre still on your completed season 1 battle pass starving for content.

Remove the spaces.
I see 35 seconds of statements that are mostly verifiably true.
āMillions of customization options day 1ā is actually horribly understated mathematically.
Still waiting on a citation for this claim.
You apparently ignored the last 10 seconds. Iām not doing anymore homework for you my man. Just live in denial that we were all lied to.
Halo Waypoint, one of the earlier posts in 2020 promising the gear will be earnable, a huge majority of it to be precise, this was also emphasised in the multiplayer vidoc if memory serves correctly.
(why does it keep on autocorrecting to erasable)
Battlepass content isnāt available to purchase in the store: correct
Thereās content that can only be unlocked by playing the game: also correct.
āA lotā is rather vague, but not necessarily a lie.
Did I miss something?
My homework is pretty thorough, I worry about yours though.
You havenāt even provided a citation for this quote yet:
All I wanted was a citation on an overtly false claim lol
No, that would be even worse
Imagine spending real money for a bunch of pixels.
Sad gaming community.
Really? Getting a big pack of content for $10-$15 instead of spending that much money on a coating, stickers, and a set of shoulders? That is somehow worse?
Halo Infinite had a budget of $500 MILLION. They have to make that back PLUS %20 bare-minimum within a year in order to appease their company share-holders to keep the company afloat and deem it a worthy investment. And that means that they have to make $600 Million WITHIN A FISCAL YEAR.
Add on top of that the fact that the game was delayed and investors are basically loan sharks.
āI invested $100,000 in your company, and you signed this contract that the game will release at this specified date. But now you have lost your deadline by OVER A YEAR, so now my accountants are pointoing out that now not only do I get my agreed upon $140,000 cut from your profits, but NOW I am owed a bonus 60% of that total! So now you owe me $224,000 by this newly established date!ā
These factors are why 343 Industries had to go back on their promises and make a shop system that is akin to how Fortnite sells kids a reskin for $20. Believe me, I am the LAST PERSON that likes to try to defend 343 Industries. I have HATED their decisions since Halo 4 came out.
The truth of the fact is that games are bigger and more expensive than ever, but players still want to only spend $60 on he initial purchase. As a result, DLC Packs and Microtransactions exist to pick up the slack and provide the company with a more steady flow of income between releases. Without DLC Packs and Microtransactions, videogames would become as expensive as $300 for the best looking multiplayer games made by Triple-A developers. And since they made the decision to make the multiplayer Free-To-Play, that means ANYONE can download the game free of cost and then look to the shop and go āMaybe I can throw some money their way.ā
I donāt mean to come off as snobby or anything, but bear in mind that I am a student studying for a major in Macro-Economics. Accounting and Marketing is literally my thing. And once again, I am the last person that likes to defend 343 industries.
My alternative to this crappy Fortnite system will get Microtransaction Monies that the company wants while not looking like a sleazy business rip-off like the current system.
Most people arenāt going to buy every armor set, they will just stick with 1 core. They will not generate enough revenue and the game will fail. They are fixing the store this Tuesday and will continue to fix it throughout the season
Yes⦠but how about 10,000% off?!?
Iām kidding of course. If they cut the prices in half Iād be pretty happy, but what is absolutely necessary is being able to get credits by gameplay.
I want lower prices but Iām not buying anything from the store. As much as 343 is working on making us happy, which I applaud they could be like dice and ignore us, they still didnāt keep their word. Sean W did a great video breaking down all the stuff they promised and didnāt deliver and I want them to deliver. The amount of slots for armor is great but it is just sad that almost all the armor for these slots has to be purchased.
The most theyāll ever get out of me is the battlepass and even then I might reconsider that depending how season 2 turns out.
Yes and polls also suggest that tons of people already purchase stuff from the store, so why exactly would this change the equation?
customization is entirely subjective and personal. They could give a lot of those same customization options out for free and many would still never use them. These are very specific items made for people who are interested in it. You just saying āI donāt what it looks like or if it makes sense for what Iām going forā doesnāt change that the vast majority of people purchase a specific item they are interested in.
As an example, I purchased the cat ears (weeb I know
) for 10 bucks, meanwhile many of the other items are worthless (in my eyes) so reducing the value doesnāt really do anything for like 90% of people that are not interested in it.
So you donāt actually care if the item looks cool or anything? mkay. I am somebody that is a bit more picky, but if you literally just wanna buy any ole item you see in the store for 5 bucks thatās you.
Whales make up like what? 80 to 90% of the profit for any F2P game? What kind of moron (business wise) would not care about them?
Also, the store does not allow people to just spend 10 cents btw. You can only buy like what, $5 worth of Halo credits at least? So this is a bit misleading. You would ultimately spend the same exact amount of money ironically.
I have a history, you are free to look it up lol. I made this same argument when Gears 5 decided to make iron (their in store currency) worthless, basically leading to a store that was pointless and just screwed over all the people that actually bought stuff. I am definitely a greed is good sort of guy.
I dunno about you dude. I swap armor cores every couple of matches.
So because you do that means most people do? Most of the people I know just stick with 1 core
Iām just saying. I unlocked cosmetics, I will shake it up sometimes. Otherwise, what is the point of unlocking stuff that you have no desire of using?
the possibility Iāll use it later. when that happens is down to my whims.
Yeah youāre not gonna get a 50% price reduction. There are plenty of F2P games that get away with much more expensive cosmetics than whatās in Halo Infinite.
If I had to guess, Iām thinking 10-20% price reduction.
Because you are forced to? Because stuff that you want is at a higher level?
Weāll see tomorrow I guess
