stop whining and deal with it

seriously, whats wrong with this community?

“We want firefight!” -“You’ll get firefight.”
“We want infection!” - “You’ll get infection!”
“We want more stats after a game!”-“You’ll get it.”
“WE WANT…but 343 never listen to the community anyway, duh!”

That behaviour is just…pure cringe. 343 is one of the best fps developers out there especially when it comes to post-launch support and fan service.
just take a look at cod’s microtransactionsystem or how they charge money for a few maps! Yet People are complaining about free stuff.
And I dare you to come up with this stupid “it’s content that should have been in there from the beginning argument”! Thats wrong. 343 could just take your 60 bucks and don’t do anything more. You can inform yourself about a game at launch - Reviews, etc. - and thats what you pay for. nothing more, it doesnt matter if gamemodes or anything else was included in previous games. thats the business for most other developers.

I dont think halo 5 is perfect and neither is 343. But People acting like its the worst in franchise history or 343 just being a bunch of lazy amateurs is just ridiculous. with halo 5 multiplayer and support after launch, 343 did way better than bungie ever could, imo.

The guys raging about the free updates are the same who get mad as hell when their parents buy them an iPhone 6 for birthday just because they wanted an iPhone 6S. Ridiculous crybabies.
And i say it once more - i don’t think it’s all perfect, too. But get yourself some manners, boys. Not everything can match your personal preferences and expectations.
This is the most balanced multiplayer we’ve ever had, and if 343 steps up their campaign and add splitscreen again for halo 6, they’ll produce a bigger masterpiece than bungie ever did. Take of the nostalgic glasses. Halo’s great again.

343? Best fps developer? Don’t me laugh.

I won’t deny that 343 haven’t made some major -Yoink- ups in their career but compared to most fps developers today they are amazing.

I used to be like you, until 343 found a way to disappoint me. I don’t even care for those things, now I care about the Falcon, and I understand now.

Personally for me, I like 343i, I like their community outreach, the fact BS Angel left recently was very saddening as she had a lot of communication on twitter with the halo universe.
I’m not trying to argue I am trying to debate, and give the most constructive reasons.

First I think Bungie bringing Halo to life, set a really high bar for Halo in terms of the experience of the games, everyone who played back then remember split screening combat evolved or Halo 2, and just having the time of their lives, in many ways the campaign outweighed the multiplayer experience, in Halo 5 not only is the campaigns story not that great (in my opinion) it offers no splitscreen, and no adventure, no one hops into halo 5 eager to replay the campaign, and I think that is the same to be said with Halo 4.

Bungie left Halo with Halo Reach, which at the time was, not their most popular Halo game, but one I personally enjoyed and spent the most hours in, I loved Forge World, I loved the campaign, I loved the customization, and 343i with these free updates as you know have been pulling assets from older games, CE pistol, Halo 2 BR (both of which I love greatly) and I think the previous free updates have gone down well, I appreciate and enjoy free monthly updates to Halo 5.

It’s no argument that some of these features should have been available at launch, but like you say, most games launch and don’t get any attention afterwards, so I thank 343i for making sure it’s tended too. I think the controversy comes from calling the update ‘Memories of Reach’ , Reach implies the entire game, and with Reqs and assets available to be pulled from Bungie’s last game, people have guessed and desired many things, like the Falcon, then with the reveal people got, a Phaeton, a Brute Plasma Rifle, no Maps from Reach, and Weapon skins that have no relevance to Reach.

I’m not saying people shouldn’t appreciate the free items, but the update, back from when it’s name was revealed got many peoples hopes up about what it could contain, when really all we got from Reach was Noble Teams armour. I believe the update should have had a different name, favoured at Noble Team. That wouldn’t have gotten peoples hopes up for additions such as the Falcon.

To conclude, I think the fans appreciate the free updates, I do, but to call an update Memories of Reach, and use hardly no assets from Reach itself leaves the community that play Halo 5 Guardians, slightly cheated and confused.

Most of those developer didn’t launch a broken collection and bailed when everything went to hell.
They sure as hell didn’t like about the campaign’s story either. So no they aren’t amazing imho.

343 can come back to me when they have there stuff together.

While I agree infection and the new UI seem good they should have been there in the first place. Putting that aside we aren’t getting firefight we are getting a gamemodes that defeats the core purpose of firefight which was wave based endurance. Warzone firefight doesn’t have lives and runs on a timer. That’s not a survival mode like firefight was it’s completely different.

Like I said, they have major -Yoink- ups like the MCC collection. And I admit the campaign story wasn’t great in Halo terms but it is better then just about every other fps story out there (Destiny) and 343 has at least made an effort to try and please the community. If you can’t see that, then why don’t you just leave?

My problem isn’t that they aren’t listening. It’s that they teased us with the chance of the Falcon, and when they saw how hyped we were they just rolled with it. That’s my problem.

Unlike most people on waypoint i don’t give 343 anymore benefit of doubt. What about you can leave instead lol

i said one of the best, not the best. lern to read. And do you have any arguments that underline your comment? I’llgive some for mine:
look at other big/new fps franchises and their latest games:

battlefield 4: campaign almost non existent, terrible multiplayer issues at Launch
battlefield hardline: total crap
Star wars battlefront: No campaign, multiplayer easily forgotten - total failure to any fan of battlefront II
Cod bo3: Terrible microtransactionsystem that is literally gambling, 9,99$ for 5 maps (=> no free dlc like in halo!), also very bad campaign
Titanfall: No campaign, multiplayer fun but abanoned very fast, no free content updates
Destiny: Always the same missiondesign (protect for 3 waves), 5$ for an emote, totally unbalanced multiplayer…there is a reason most People say bungie isn’t the same anymore! Only a game for People who like grind-mechanics.

Halo 5’s multiplayer is still unique and better than ever. The Change from halo 4 to halo 5 mp is quite an achievement and more back to the roots/Arena style. and even though the free content updates do not include everyone’s whishes, they keep the multiplayer fresh, especially this month with infection!
So, what are your arguments? Or are you just another sheep on the 343 hatetrain?

And I can understand that. Yes, a falcon would’ve been nice, but People going total rampage about it is just ridiculous. I mean the falcon looks nice and is precious for those who produce halo Videos, but in multiplayer it was literally crap and easily shot down…
But getting infection should be the bigger deal right now, imo…
And who knows, maybe they’ll surprise us in the livestream

What I can’t stand is how everyone has been screaming for infection since this game launched, now it’s about to be here, and almost every thread on here is about the damn Falcon. It’s impossible to please people.

So complaining about complaining will solve the problem? No instead your just being part of it.

Sheep? Why should i have a talk with a kid who call people he disagree with a sheep. Have a nice day, kiddo.

Nice strawman argument btw

wrong. i only call people a sheep who spread their opinions without any reasonable arguments - like you did, you sheep. still waiting.

Nice argument dodging btw
