First let me start off by saying that there is a major difference between whining, and constructive criticism. Whining is pointing out every single minuscule flaw and inflating it to the size of a mammouth. The kind of complaints and whining that goes on here is nauseating. “The campaign is too short.” “The DMR is overpowered, it needs a nerf.” “The ghost is too powerful.” “I die too often.” Are there problems with this game? Yes, there are many problems with this game. I would dare say this is a beta, and should have of been released in January. Coincidently that is when a LOT of the new features will be implemented. Has 343 messed up several times? Have they basically lied to us several times? Yes and yes. But realize this is a new company, and this is their first game. This is NOT Bungie’s 6th game. Give them and Halo 4 a break. And this is coming from someone who did nothing but customs and Forge in Reach and 3, two things that 343 did a poor job on. But turns out despite all the whining here on the forums I’ve found a bunch of old game types, even an Invasion iteration! If you really hate Halo 4 that much, why are you on this forum? Complaining to a company that you claim NEVER listens to your pleas for help? Go to the Universe section and talk about the story, or go to Recruiting to find custom games lobbies. Or if you actually care about Halo 4 email 343, or talk about things on Twitter etc Or go and play other games until Halo is really finished and some smaller map packs have come out. Play Portal, GOW, AC or older Halo games! They’re all good! So stop whining! Things will happen in time and shouting even louder in a crowd full of other shouting people WON’T HELP ANYTHING. (Ironically I am trying to shout louder in a crowd of whiners so I guess in that case I’m no better then them) Go ahead, call me a 343 fanboy. I won’t care because I won’t see it because I will be playing Halo 4 and enjoying it despite its various flaws.

I’m just going to say that the the DMR being OP threads are not excessive whining. It is a starting weapon that has advantage over all other starting weapons. It causes many problems and should be fixed in some way.
Also it is important for everyone to tell 343 what they feel is wrong with the game. That is a reason we have Halo forums. 343 is supposed to read these forums to get feedback. If all we do is talk about the good things then the bad things will not get fixed.
Excuse these people for asking for things to be changed for a arguably better gameplay experience. They want to play Halo 4, because they love Halo. But said people don’t because they’re easily frustrated by gimmicky/arguably broken things or they thing the game is gimmicky and arguably kind of broken.
everyone has a right to complain. Regardless of how whiny or angry they are.
the forums are for feedback. Regardless of positive or negative feedback. Regardless of how rational or irrational.
making a complaint thread about people complaining not only has been done almost as much as complaint threads themselves but it also does not help the issue. In fact your aiding to what you dislike. Nice going.

sniper rifle on ragnarok is BS. every time the person gets it, they camp on base with it and then gobble the ammo when the new sniper spawns… I CANT EVEN BETRAY ANYONE TO GET IT FROM THEM… what the heck 343. im so sick of power weapon hogs. give ppl limits on power weapons. or at least sniper rifle on ragnarok.

One thread shows that only one person thought the problem was big enough to make a thread about it. 100 threads shows 343 that the problem is big and needs to be addressed in some way.
Your thread does absolutely nothing for the Halo community or Halo 4 BTW.
yea but it’s the whiners and complainers that ruin it for the people that like the game as is. tweaks are fine but massive gameplay changes like EVERY battlefield 3 update force people to relearn portions of the game every few months. and if you play that game every title update brings more problems. at this point 343 knows about the issues i think some of you guys can ease off. if you hate the game stop playing nothing turns a devs attention to drastic drop offs.
and before you say theres been drop offs already black ops came out and with halo’s price drop and christmas the numbers are going to go back up.
i think the op just wants the forums to stop being flooded with 36 “waaaaa waaaa nerf the dmr so i can use the nostalgic br again” threads.
the game isn’t that different than other halos i know this is a dirty word but ADAPT people. eventually the game format needs to change some to keep up with the times. lets face it change is always needed to keep games fresh.
You know, I hate it when people use the phrase “tl;dr”, like it’s some kind of badge of honor.
