Many people seem to want the option to play as an elite in multiplayer. I am here to tell those people that IT DOESN’T MATTER. In halo 2 or 3, have you ever won a game just because you are an elite? Have you ever gotten a killtacular from the fact that you are an elite? No. Elites were just a gimmick that had no real gameplay effect except for in halo reach. Even in reach you couln’t chose to be an elite. Stop whining just becaue you want to run around trolling people by shouting “wort wort wort!”

I remember a time when Elites couldn’t be headshot from behind because their head was located below their shoulders in Halo 2 and 3. That had since been fixed in Reach. That was the only reason I liked playing as an Elite, because it did in fact have a tactical advantage.

We don’t live in an alternate universe where Elites have never been playable in Halo.
People who liked playing as Elites have just as much of a right to play one, as you have the right to play a female spartan. Stop being selfish.
Elites don’t really fit into the “training” story they have for the MP. Also, when ever you seen an Elite on the other team, it was a sign that you have won that game.

Because Elites have been playable before? There really isn’t a good reason to take them out of customization options.

To be honest, I won’t buy it if they are not in.

Sangheili player models are pretty much #1 on the community want list based on the massive post they have compared to everything else. The whole canonical multiplayer thing was limited in Halo 4 cause 99% of the player base couldn’t give a damn about it or honestly didn’t know it was there in the first place unless you were on the forums or the halo wiki.
Quite honestly, if they put Elites back into Halo multiplayer it would just annoy me and make me less interested in it. I’d get the game regardless though. Anyone saying they won’t get the game without elites in it should just stop being Halo fans, as they clearly don’t care about the actual game.

ive always played as an elite, except when playing MLG, i was a level 46 in halo 3 mlg. And we should very much have a choice, not that i care anymore since i wont be getting 5 most likely anyways.

I do care about the franchise, it’s just that if 343 is not going to support my portion of the community, then why should we bother supporting them.

pretty much, I actually know a group of people who ROLE PLAY in halo as sangheili (elites) i personally dont but they have pretty much been stuck playing reach to continue what they do. I just think elites are cool and different so i always played as them since halo 2. even loved the arbiter stuff in halo 2 quite a bit
Its pretty funny when you bxr someone in the face and go positive 20 in team slayer as an elite. It gets in the other teams head so bad, like everything they knew in the universe has been changed

I was one of those role players stuck in Reach as well, it was a rather melancholy time.
