How can people hop on these forums and claim to have a review or thorough feedback for a beta that has been in wide release for less than 24 hours?

The point of a beta is to review. A beta is meant to be a point to see what works and what doesn’t work so the final product is a better product. But over the years its morphed into promotional only. Developers used to release betas to a small group to test. So yes review the beta
This beta is not about review - it is about gameplay and improving the foundation that 343 has laid down.
I agree OP, people need to calm the hell down. If there are issues, they need to be articulated coherently and maturely. The beta will have served its purpose at that time.

how do you improve gameplay and foundation, if nobody reviews, you contradict yourself by saying this, a beta is meant to improve on those things that dont work, ergo you have to review what doesnt work and what does so that by post launch it can be addressed, again the point of a beta is to -Yoinking!- review and always has been since the days of nintendo OG

So started to check out beta as Master Chef collection suffers so does the beta matchmaking takes hours to get a game started. Yes seem like an eternity before you can get in with sucking severs that can’t seem to support the volume of gamers on. Sorry to say it will be another disappointment for 343. What’s the sense of beautiful looking game when help is needed to run it smoothly. Halo5 needs work server needs work can’t understand a person shooting with more accuracy from across the map than an a fight up close. Shooting a person with the same amount of bullets yet still lose the fight. Truth map is like a campers paradise as there are areas added to the map that really don’t need to be there. Overall pretty picture but no bungie.
You can bet your armour that 343i will see the constructive threads and take note. One thing I hope to see is people write a final review and link their original so that we contrast their experience.
Did it grow on them?
Did it push them away?
Did the rush never stop?
Did it all start in a slow build up but end in a big bang???

Lol how do you exactly know if the servers are a mess or 343 isn’t simply pulling the servers down to tweak them from time to time.? I mean that’s what a beta is for, to test balance,bugs and server issues.

You dont review a beta, you review the final product. During a beta you are to test hows things are working, report any bugs, and thoughts to improve the game. That is called constructive criticism very different from reviewing.
If you want feed back fix the sever issues and wait it in the matchmaking. Grenade need a bit taking back because halo is like a snowball fight w grenades. Balance of fight weird person at a distance kills you quicker than standing in front with a one on one battle. Master Chef Collection failed epic due to these issues. Don’t fix them and 343 will have another collection fail.
