Look, I get that you are watching your teammate get beat up or poked in the face by a sharp object known as a knife (Or stuck by a plasma 'nade if the assassin has the Supernova (Lol typed supernoice before supernova)) But stop performing showstoppers. If you don’t know what showstoppers are, it means you save your teammate from an assassination. You should stop performing this because its a pain to pull off assassinations, and the feeling of getting one, but then getting killed before you finish is almost as annoying as fighting a solider in Mythic WZFF (Which is a butthurt) if you get the showstopper metal, you are basically congratulated for being a jerk. I second this. If I can stop the opposing team from getting a kill and save a teammate in the process then I am going to do it.

Yeah showstopper is quite the good feeling, especially if you have the snipe. Yoinks on the other hand, as stated above, are a pet peeve of mine. Especially since you need the so cuddly for achilles. I usually just have animation off tho, veryyyy risky to have it on

Stop teammates from being able to steal a kill on an enemy that’s being assassinated (unless Halo 5 already does this? I haven’t checked), but keep showstoppers in.
The point of making an assassination isn’t that you’re supposed to make one at every possible opportunity. If you decide to assassinate an enemy whilst another 3 are looking right at you then it’s your own fault for making a bad decision. If you assassinate a lone enemy and they call for a teammate to help them out then they deserve the advantage for having better communication - you could do the same by asking a teammate to cover you while you perform the move.

That’s like saying you shouldn’t kill the enemy flag carrier because they are excited they snagged your flag. Part of the thrill of an assassination is the risk. If you don’t want the risk, just disable assassinations and do a backsmack

There isn’t anything about helping your teammates that makes someone a ‘jerk’, it’s actually what you’re supposed to do when playing a team game. Showstopper is a reward for looking out for your teammate. It’s a reward for playing the game the way it was intended to be played.
If you’re upset that someone kills you while you’re assassinating someone there are plenty of ways to avoid it. You chose to do something flashy as opposed to simple, that may be more fun, but if it doesn’t work out because they other person’s teammate saves them the fault lies with you.

Nah I love it. To have immunity for a split second is kinda dumb and slows down the game play/immersion. It rewards a “skill” in being able to sneak around and assainate an enemy without their team knowing
Next time I showstop I’m also going to throw 'em the bags just to remind them there’s a new sheriff in town.

Seriously it’s hard enough to get a show stopper in the first place. Second, starting an assassination isn’t technically that hard not is it too uncommon imo. I tend to have plenty opportunities for them. I just prefer simple love tap.

Hold up! No. If that was gone you know how bad it would be if someone was trying to kill them while they assassinate someone? As I see it, you use a yoink to save you teammate from death while in the animation.
