now i know everyone has there own already made up minds on h4 but honestly we cant assume its going to be no good or to much like cod until we play it, 343 know what theyre doing. they are making a halo game and im sure they will do well so far everything looks good and even all the new stuff they have introduced i am still keeping an open mind and everyone else should too.

H4 is guilty until it proves its good/ we see some gameplay where people are not sprint beatdowning.

sorry im not into all the reach BS in H4. But i wanted H4 not a reach clone.
Halo 4 is not even close to anything that can be called halo. Its a joke.

These ‘valid points’ they claim to have are off either misinformed magazines or articles they read online.
We haven’t even had a full gameplay video yet showing things like Sprint, Promethean Vision or Jetpack, yet people complain about them.

The game is not becomming reach v.2 people need to understand that they cant judge a game they have not see any real gameplay or has experienced first hand. you can jump to certan conclusions from what info whe got so far, but not the whole game. i personaly like reach, true it was very different from the resdt of the francise and halo 2 will always be my favourite, but i wont bash a game i’ve never even played. thats like reading a book and just saying the movie sucks. Halo has AA, and bloom etc. but that is because the game is evolving. all games need to evolve.i like AA they gives you a chance to operate in the field you are best in, or ust use them for the fun of it. I believe not all gametypes are gonna have AA enabled. But tell me, why does the AA run halo? just because it wasn’t in the previous ones?
MY MIND, is NOT ‘made up’ until I have H4 in my BOX and am playing it.

I play games for fun. The gameplay is what matters most to me, and from what I hear well… Seems like the long-term fans and competitive community are getting shafted yet again.
If I cared about how games look I’d build a top-end PC and run tech demos with Battlefield 3 and Crysis. Sure pretty graphics are nice, but they aren’t a selling point for me.
We should be happy 343 is giving us a new Halo game to play on , even if some things change , thats just how things go.

I have to disagree. People are allowed to make informed opinions. 343 has given information and people have made opinions based on this information. Isn’t this natatural/obvious? There will always be people who take it to the extreme, but don’t go around telling people they can’t have an opinion until they play the game, even if it’s an opinion on the ENTIRE game. You have an opinion about it. So do others.
I feel like you already know this because in the very next sentence you say:

Anyway, threads like these need to stop. If you really think H4 is going to be great then you shouldn’t have to start a thread in defense of it. People are going to be negative no matter what you do. Starting a thread like this makes the op seem worried.
