I hate the fact that people can be so stupid about how either,“Holy S%#t, Halo 4 is a disappointment”, or “OMG its not Halo anymore”, or even, “Its being runned by casuals now”.
PEOPLE PLEASE, be more mature about it and just wait.
First: 343 is trying their best to please both the hardcore-fan base and casuals alike. I already know that this sort of achievement is hanging on a thin line, but give the game a chance. We can never be sure if the game plays well unless we try it out ourselves.(AND PLEASE STOP JUDGING IT BY HOW IT LOOKS, IF YOUR SKEPTIC ABOUT IT, GIVE A RENT FIRST).
Second: I really think you should think about how games work. If the game plays too similar to its predecessor, IT WILL BE BORING. You’ll be just playing the exact same game TWICE. I mean look at Call of Duty, it suffers from that. Every new sequel needs to have something new so that old players can have new toys to play with in the game, while it also makes the game compete against other games. Its EVOLUTION PEOPLE, if they don’t make a few changes within the times, it’ll never survive the market. Innovation and adaptation is the key to survive the market. It bring old players something extra, while giving new players something shiny to play.
Third: STOP HATING ON THE CASUALS. Seriously, the gaming community is suppose to let newcomers join in on the fun, we can’t just send them away. WE WERE ALL NEWCOMERS TO BEGIN WITH, SO WHAT IS THE POINT IN HATING ON THE NEWS GUYS? LET THEM PLAY. Besides, only true hardcore players will be able to adapt to every change made. I THOUGHT HARDCORE GAMERS WOULD LIKE A NEW CHALLENGE AFTER ALL, RIGHT?
Fourth: Don’t talk about anything bad about Halo 4, unless you have hard facts and ACTUAL EXPERIENCE. Don’t judge a game by what you’ve never played. If you’re that judgmental, then get out of here.
