I don’t know if any other players have noticed this; me and my buddy just recently did, but no matter what playlist, and no matter who you’re playing against, grenade spam is always there. And I’m tired of it. I’m tired of having my health taken out by grenades that stop right under my feet, and blow up without any delay at all (which is stupid, there needs to be a delay).
One of the major things I notice about Call of Duty that separates the gameplay from halo, is that people don’t rely on grenades to kill people.
Please, 343, fix this somehow. Make players not spawn with grenades, I don’t know. But I can’t take anymore of the constant damn explosions from stupid noobs running around hardly ever having to shoot, yet still getting a lot of kills from grenades.

Apologies, I meant nerf, not buff, they are weaker compared to Reach nades.
I dont mind people throwing grenades so that they travel somewhere.
The reflexive left trigger pull upon death does my head in though, how many times have i walked away from a kill and suddenly been blown up in the back from a live grenade that didnt even leave the guys body. Its like the martyrdom perk

Whenever I know I’m done no matter what Halo game, I always chuck 'nades at my feet. Gets’em 90% of the time.
Grenades are supposed to be a support tool, not as a destructive tool (well, except for Plasmas), and I don’t like how in Reach you could have a good portion of your shield and full health, and still die from one grenade. I’m definitely happy to hear that they are weaker in Halo 4!
Grenades always do no damage when I throw them at someone else’s feet. But when they’re thrown at me, 1 frag can kill me when I have full health and shields. I wouldn’t mind grenade spamming if there wasn’t a double standard when it comes to the damage made by the explosion.
I hate grenades because usually when someone throws one at me it honestly looks like it went flying by, but apparently not and explodes right behind me to kill me when I have nearly all my shields.

I completely agree! Something needs to be done. Especially about people dropping Nades at their feet as you kill them. When I out shoot someone but come out even because they threw a nade like a little -Yoink- when the realized they were gonna die I get really pissed.

It’s not even a question of how strong grenades are, as they’ve been relatively the same over time. 2 frags or one well placed sticky for a kill. However, in Reach for some reason, an overwhelming amount of players tend to throw their grenades first before even entering a room and it’s really annoying. I’ve never had this problem with any Halo game before and it is really frustrating to see people tap the Left Trigger twice before even checking to see if there’s anyone around. Add in multiple people, and you find yourself dodging hordes of grenades at a time, which isn’t fun at all.
I honestly don’t mind Reach’s nades. If someone is bad enought to throw nades as their primary attack then you’ll kill them easily providing you don’t make it easy for them. This grenade spam that everyone talks about is just one of the things that makes Halo Halo. They’re just tactical nades that stop the opposition from getting choke points or weapon spawns. Well, that’s the case in MLG anyway.
