I agree with this statement sooooooooooooo much! I didn’t like a lot of forward unto dawn because of it. It just doesn’t seem right. I’m not sexist, this is just what I think.

Ditto - alittle funny here and there doesn’t hurt- everyone has their own opinion on whats too much- personally I most of it- but every once in awhile tone it down alittle. just my opinion but spartan ops is almost the only thing keeping my playing at the moment. Please don’t turn it into COD with Spartans… oh wait.
343 is trying to follow bungies footsteps by being funny in some situations but they have to accept that they are not that funny.
but i still get some laughs from roland sometimes

lol that;s what roland is always making fun of. that is why hes funny

Why? Because men are faster, stronger, more aggressive, and more durable than women. Could you genetically alter women to be increase these traits? Sure, but starting with the gender that already has an advantage in the traits you’re looking for in a super soldier makes more sense.
The AI’s should be women, because women’s voices carry better in a crisis, and there is no benefit counter benefit to creating male AI.
Palmer is grating because she’s not believable, female Spartan’s break immersion in general. Having to interact with one constantly just makes it worse.
i kind of agree, throughout the spartan ops episodes there have been moments where i thought to myself “am i playing halo or a little 6 year olds game?” don’t get me wrong some humor is totally fine in spartan ops, but it seems like the people on the comms use words that a little prepubescent child would say. most of the dialogue is fine but sometimes they seem like children rather than war hardened spartans. it just felt really unhalo like.

Im still confused 0_o
Other than palmer, the squad leader in FuD, and the commander who kept looking out for lasky (the one who gave him his papers for medical discharge) who else are we thinking of?
the Squad leader was kind of annoying but that…kinda is how alot of them are men or women. Palmer…is palmer theres alot that could be said about her but lets leave her as what already been said. And the commander who helped lasky was just her didn’t really have much going other than an almost replacement motherly figure kinda role.
So who are all these binders full of women that you are infering are being jammed in your faces?
(Remember as well, Keys was bungie not 343 so you can’t use her)
> All the episodes are already made. No changes will be made.
All Episodes aren’t already made. As soon as Halo 4 went gold a week after they stopped partying they dived into Spartan Ops. Episodes are being made as we speak.
If I were crimson and I had to listen to miller and roland during a REAL MISSION I would think to myself “Seriosuly guys this is the military, get it together and quit -Yoink- around! I can’t believe I’m being led by the circus”
Its just hollow writing for a hollow game mode. I would have still preferred Firefight to this.
Give FF more of a Dominion game mode to continue to modify defenses against increasing odds would been better.
Or Spartan Ops is sort of a joke it should have gone with Red vs Blue and you play as characters on these “away” missions. Hilarity ensues. Its only good for XP.
Palmer needs to go as a character. Its so ridiculous that she jumps to shoot Halsey if she so much as looks at her wrong. Really? A Spartan afraid of a little old lady?
> I’d rather listen to the bad dialogue then to hear Palmer’s bad attempt at sounding like some, “tough, female soldier who’s female that doesn’t take no guff from no one because she’s FEMALE!”.
>
> I especially hate her constant negative attitude towards scientists in general. Because you know, only losers would read books and create armour with energy shielding for soldiers to survive in combat with a vast, superior race of aliens. Pfft, what losers. Also she’s female.
omfg lol i just cracked up in my office chair LOL
the highlight basically sums up why people hate palmer. It has nothign to do with gender. It has everything with her looking like she is trying sooooo hard to be “one of the guys” instead of just letting her badasery just naturally flow like halsey does.
lol even Kat in Reach was a cooler female character -__-
ahh i thought maybe the OP was going to talk about the people playing spartan ops. this just in! it IS possible to fail some levels. some -Yoink- blew up the warthogs at the beginning of ch.4 (i assume because he didn’t get the gauss canon -_-) in a game i played, allowing the covenant to ruin the generators before we could even get there. the mission didn’t last 2 minutes.

>
> She’s a terrible leader, and why does she bother to put on all of her armor when she never once leaves the ship.
Haha! She puts her armor on to walk around the Infinity all angry.

I don’t know about who ever else complained at Palmer’s tough character, but I personally think they tried way too hard. Yeah, we all get it now, she’s in command, doens’t mean she has to keep acting all hard. Gender has nothing to do with it, because I personally would still complain if Palmer was originally scripted as a man and still had the “tough guy” personallity. It’s just annoying and stupid, I feel like I’m watching G.I.Joe or some stupid child’s show where everybody tries to act like total badasses.
