If you spawn into and pick up plasma, splinter grenades and I already have frag grenades equipped it will change and be on the other grenade options instead of just leaving it at the default frag grenade. Stop switching my grenades when I don’t even want to. I don’t care if I pick them up, I’ll switch to them if I have to use them. It seems to happen infrequently but it still does happen and it’s annoying. Sometimes I think I’ll have my frag equipped, but nope, plasma grenade. Stop making me waste nades like that. Test it out on forge for yourselves, make a grenade spawn different from a frag and spawn right on top of it and that will be equipped at the start rather than your default 2 frag grenades. EDIT: Also if you could fix the lag spike 2 throw grenade at once that would be also awesome. I know anyone here won’t deny that that has happened to them at least once, you throw 2 grenades instead of 1.

If you do try recording your hands as you play. I’ve seen threads requesting it to auto-switch. I’m guessing your either doing it without realizing it or your controller is on the fritz.

I think you both are right my controller is pretty thrashed nowadays but i swear it still switches sometimes when my finger is nowhere near the d pad
This has happened to me also on several occasions and it does get kinda annoying. Dont worry bro you’re not crazy. I have no clue what causes this to occur though.
Makes no sense, mine have never changed and I have my entire family and friends play halo daily. None of us have that issue thats very odd. Have you attempted to check in the support section man?

Yeah it’s reallllly infrequent but does happen occasionally. I think it may have to do with either lag spikes, maybe pressing actions buttons (aside from the d pad) coinciding with picking up extra grenades, I’m not sure. I am glad it doesn’t happen often enough to have a real damper on game play but when it does happen it is annoying.
Grenades DO automatically switch from your initial frag grenades to whatever other grenades you spawn into or pick up extremely shortly after spawning.
And people said I was crazy… GOT YOU!
PS. This isn’t a big issue it was more of a matter of principle.
