As much as I despite creating a “Hate”-Thread, this is a serious issue now.
Whenever I’m driving a tank and getting a lot of kills with it, some people come to the idea to stand on top of my tank for no reason! And this really annoys me (or I guess, not only me).
There is no point doing this. So STOP it!

Eh, doesn’t bother me too much, a little extra firepower never hurts. It’s only when they stand in front of the turret.
Tea-bagging the top of the turrent is fantastic, I do it all the time. I got a busted medal killing a guy smacking the back of it

Does it come to your mind that YOU are robbing the tank drivers sight with this?!
Well you could always try to drive in reverse, with the main cannon facing the back of the tank.

If someone is standing on top of the turret, I can’t see anything even when driving backwards.
Well maybe if people would stop for a potential gunner chasing after them for 3 minutes I might not be tempted to jump on the side of your tank cause some lucky punk hopped in the seat cause you stopped for HIM.

Ah well that sucks (when you said turret I was thinking of the small turret the passenger gets).

I ALWAYS stop for someone, who wants in the front turret.
And yes, I meant the Cannon.

Yes, that is a good idea. Personally I think, the best idea is, one driver (of course), a gunner, and someone behind the tank.
I never use vehicles in MP so I haven’t had this problem, but I HAVE seen it happen…so many accidental betrayals…so many lulz

Problem? No, not at all! I have gotten two Killtaculars taking out the Scorpion with its driver, gunner and assorted joy riders on it

On the other hand, when I’m driving…team mates…keep off! Actually, no one has done that tome when I’m driving…so, I guess I haven’t been blessed with idiot team mates thus far

Well, I guess, I’m not blessed with that luck. Once in a while I get a whole good team of randoms, but mostly just… not that good people. I really hate being a gunner on a Warthog with the driver being a random guy. I just don’t get it why 95.92 % of the people just drive into a bunch of enemys.
I’m even communicating with them a lot, telling them, what to do, where enemys at. No, driving off a cliff wasting a Warthog is WAY funnier -.-
But the worst thing is: I can’t do anything about this. Just have to go on with it…

I feel your pain.
Having retired from driving the Gauss Hog when the TU came out, I have decided to drive again but, this time, trying the LAAG out since it will not get a buff on its gun. I look forward to driving gunners to success as I did with the Gauss. Sure, the LAAG will never be successful as the gauss was pre TU, but, at least we should get killing frenzies and higher now. Mind you, though, with no word on what will be done about the PP and PG, the experience may still be bad. Buffing the gun is one thing but, the Hog itself is still weak as Yoink! Only the good drivers will be able to eek out something special which will allow the gunners to get their kills.

Also I never stop for guys trying to get into the chain gun spot. The chain guy on the scorpion is pretty useless. I could be in a tank for the whole game and the gunner gets maybe 1 kill at best.
It must be boring too, just sitting there not really doing anything for your team.
I have more than 2000 tank kills in this game, please if you want to help the tank driver just stand back and watch the tank with your DMR.
Also if you happen to be driving a tank drive towards you own base, towards your team, you will survive a lot longer and get more kills.

Having some 2500 Scorpion kills, I agree. I’m always thankful for those who kill enemies who might be boarding from behind etc. All to often though, I’m in the tank and I watch as so called team mates watch it being destroyed and once the enemy jumps off then they kill him!

I do because the Scorpion Gunner and Wraith Gunner are two of the easiest kills to get. They stick out a mile and are helpless to do anything about it!I love killing gunners and they spawn again…run back and get in only to die again
Me and my friends use it as a giant troop trasport/ mobile fortress. 4-6 guys standing on the tank while we dive over to an enemy base (driver and turret gunner not included in that count). The focused firepower is worth the risk of all of us getting blown up.
