i honestly agree with this. the gameplay is alright for a ‘halo game’, but not great or perfect. fun yet annoying, almost too annoying. certain weapons aren’t ballanced, hit reg and server connection are a complete joke (makes tf2’s servers look good). this is not a complete product even at launch, even when it’s out of beta, it’s no where near complete. see ya’l in 3 years when the game is actually complete and better

OP, can you name a Halo title that you consider to have great game play? All games have had at least a few minor issues with game play performance and weapon balancing.

The Pulse Carbine is absolutely deadly when you use it at the right range, and don’t try to force it otherwise. It is great Behemoth, but I’ve also done really well with it on smaller maps like Streets and Livefire.

For example, on Livefire, post up in the tower with a Pulse Carbine, BR, and Repulsor. Use one or two bursts from the Pulse Carbine two quickly strip shields, switching to the BR before the final plasma bolts even land, and you can headshot the opponent before they even really react most of th time. Repulsed opponents that come up to the tower into the water :joy:. The fact that an average/above average player like me can get a Killing Frenzy doing this means the weapon might be broken. It worked great for me in Oddball, protecting the carrier. The most dangerous part was to venture out to get more Repulsor charges and BR ammo.

So it’s only good for dropping shields, but it should be good for finishing kills which it absolutely is not….

Even tho H2/H3 had minor issues they have the best gameplay and that’s a fact and I’m in the majority…
