Stop punishing losses so heavy! I dont care if your little ranksystem is inflated, I dont care if you did something wrong in the beginning, I dont have to suffer for your mistakes. With a 198 ping, 3/4 people I just lost half of the bar as #1 in my team! 1 loss takes away 5 wins! You act like your battle pass buyers are 8 year old kids and nobody is gona make youn accountable? My frustration is huge.
Game developers tend to think they are special, your not. If I would deliver such a miserable job, Id get fired. Game developers think they dont need to care, because the buyers are kids anway, right?
I’ve honestly always felt this way about ranked in Halo games, which is why I don’t generally play it all that often, more so if I don’t build a team before participating in them. It always felt like way more work then benefit from actually ranking up.
But then again, I don’t want it be too relaxed either… If you just cap out at the best rank super easy it doesn’t feel like much of an accomplishment.
They have already said they will be changing the ranked system, very soon. How exactly does you posting this help us in our need to change it, if you haven’t even allowed the changes they are making to come through yet?

Yesterday I was almost a Diamond 6 in crossplay. I needed 1 or 2 wins. I ended up a Diamond 4. In 3 games an enemy player quit. Free win no rank increase. In 10 games a teammate quit. Free loss, massive rank loss. Let’s not even mention the extremes in teammates skill or the occasional wallhacker. When ever I get a team of Onyx players vs another team of Onyx players I compete. I don’t get how there are Onyx players with a 40% win record, and a similar KD and accuracy as me. I’ve been in Diamond 5 limbo. Maybe that’s my skill (at least while I transition from mouse to controller full time). I accept that. I don’t accept all the free losses handed to me.
The performance you put out, as well as if you win/lose are what gives or takes away CMR. So… maybe you didn’t do well enough to stay there? I don’t know, because I’m not going to take the time to look it all up. I’m just saying, check into it.

I feel like I end up revenge playing. Yesterday I started off 1 win 7 losses due to factors like quitting as mention. I ended 22 wins 25 losses. High Diamond 5 to High Diamond 4. I accept I’m not that good. I just want the system to be accurate.
That’s what it’s supposedly trying to do, is do it correctly. Obviously it won’t be right after 10-20 games, it takes quite a few to know the skill of a player, or outliers.
