I’m sick of seeing -Yoink- like “Tired of 343 schmitting on us”, “This game is cancer”, “343 ruined Halo”.
You really think the people who like the game will change their mind just because you said that? You need to stop acting so entitled. I don’t know how to put it any clearer. If you do not like a game, then do not play it. I repeat - IF YOU DO NOT LIKE A GAME, THEN DO NOT PLAY IT. Nobody is forcing you to play the game, and if venting your disappointment on the internet is any indication of the excess amount of free time you have, then I understand why you’re so upset. Go and play a different game, get over it.

Yes, I have played every other Halo. I do understand your frustration, but if you don’t like the game then just don’t play it. It’s simple.
Have you ever followed a sports team or club? Ever had one go through a bad spell? It’s the same thing a lot of the guys ranting love the club (Halo in this example), but aren’t’ happy with the manager or the way the team is playing (343 and halo 5 respectively) They want what they see as improvement.
Also telling someone they have to leave a community because they don’t agree with you just isn’t cool, man.
After Halo 4 and Halo 5 now, i just gave up and i can’t play Halo anymore LMAO.

I get it, its stupid to play a game you dont like. But complaining about complaining is stupid too.
I really like Halo 5 but I understand where people are coming from. There’s a lot of things missing like infection, race, KOTH, and seeing your medals post game, and the “press X to party up” after you finish a game from Halo 3. I’ve made great friends because of that. Heck, I miss the old UIs from pre-game lobbies.
But if everyone who had a slight grievance or two left, then video games in general would go extinct, or be severely crippled.
I’m very mixed on the game. There’s a lot that it does that I like, but there’s also a lot missing and a lot of annoying things too. While I wish some people would elaborate their reasons out more, they have a right to voice their disappointments. Beating a dead horse doesn’t help but neither does just letting it sit there and rot. Become a -Yoinking!- necromancer and revive that thing, then ride your awesome zombie horse off into the sunset.

I have played all of the Halos, and agree with the OP. And I don’t care why you’re frustrated, as he said you can go and play another game instead of getting frustrated that 343 didn’t make the game you had in your mind. Simple!
Newsflash - the old Halos are playable on the Xbox One in MCC. You get to play the same tired levels over and over again for the foreseeable future, great eh? Meanwhile the rest of us get to play a NEW game and have fun.
In all honesty I love the halo series and once halo 5 came out I was so excited, it is a truly fun and enjoyable game.
But the issue comes in with the lack of the game types that made custom games so great and yes they are slowly adding in the previous game types and hopefully they make a few new ones as well, but since these game types did not come with launch we will just have to wait until they arrive in time.

I for one enjoy the game, but I have played every Halo game that has come out since the beginning. I have never hated one even if it was different. Considering the changes from the original xbox and the 360,I think they did pretty good in the time frame they did it.

Complaints will improve the game. If there is no complaint from the community, the developers never feel the necessity of improvement. The game will stay what it is forever, because they think customers like the game. So, people’s complaints are needed for 343 and we are helping them to make game better.
We paid money for it. If it were free, then you’d be right, but we have a right to say what we do and don’t like because we’re spending our hard earned money on a product that doesn’t have as many features as a game that came out in 2010.

Pls stop. Halo 5 has actually gotten a substantial increase in the playerbase, at least as of this post. It’s getting better. 343i’s plan for continual content releases is working, at least to a mild degree.
