Eh, I ignore most of the complainers. They’re mostly just mad about the MM aspect of it. Their fault if they:
A) Didn’t know that Anniversary’s CE gameplay is only featured in the CAMPAIGN.
B) Can’t even wait a week to have the new Playlists adjusted to less-than-ragey feedback.
C) Don’t understand the concept that the MM maps were always intended as add-ons to Reach, and will never perfectly reflect CE.

Yeah abit of patience goes along way. I personally love everything about it, and the fact you got all the DLC inside for free at a good price is just another bonus in my opinion.

Well you could have worded it better. I agree with you about comments that are ‘totally uncalled for and are by no means positive criticism’ but typing that right after telling people to ‘stop moaning and don’t effin play’ the game is a bit of a contraindication.
Not trying to be rude, just saying. Try being a little more encouraging and productive as opposed to telling people to stop moaning isn’t going to straighten people out, just put them more offside.
No matter what happens, people will disagree and dislike video games. It’s never going to stop. What’s always interesting is that people who enjoy a game for some reason seem allergic to criticizm about the game they enjoy. To that I would say that if the people who tell others to stop playing a game if they think it’s bad don’t like reading threads about people moaning then they should take their own advice and stop reading them.
Unless 343i somehow managed to create the perfect game that pleases every single person, these forums are about to become a place to complain and fight. Whether you like it or not that’s what’s about to happen. Just ignore it. I remember this aaaaaall the way back when Halo 2 came out and people were saying the exact same things back then.

Yeah i hear you, i could have worded this much better, but i quickly logged on hoping to see all happy happy thoughts and that did kinda hit a nerve, as to me this game is amazing, and i felt i needed to vent my opinon, but like we agree i could have chosen my words better. cheers for your reply.

Theres way and means of going about things, And slating a game on there own forums makes no sense to me, if you speak to the admin either on here or via Twitter they message you back 9 times out of 10, Unlike most game developers, My point being is speak about issues you may be having, not rant and rave on like you just been sold a dead turkey.

Thing is, Halo fans don’t actually give logical reason as to why they’re disappointed. They just shout and display their ignorance. 99% of the complaints I’ve are complaining about the maps being for REACH…despite the fact that they announced they’d be doing so MONTHS ago, and that the whole purpose of the -Yoink!- update was to address these concerns…

as a Veteran CE player, 343i did an amazing job at remaking on of the greatest FPS that ever lived if not the best FPS only rivaled by Halo 2. The AI is a little bit different but all in all pretty much the same, The weapons have been tweaked a bit in a good way NOT for the worst like Reach and Halo 3 did.
The only advantage Reach players had over CE players were the advanced graphics on Reach, NOW that ship sailed, CEA looks better. The Elites look more fierce in CEA instead of goofy like Reach’s, plus they look bigger despite Chief looking bigger himself and the view seems from a higher point, yeah Noble 6 is a midget looking eye to eye level with skirmishers. But CEA should have MM exactly like it plays on campaign instead of the Reach physics.
The campaign mechanics from characters to enemies completely blow Reach out of the water in every way. Not only does it play far better than Reach but playing as Master Chief makes me feel like I can take on an army of Covenant alone, unlike playing as Noble 6 which always remind me just how weak and pathetic Spartan 3s really are despite having AAs. If the old Master Chief with the older suit is far better than Noble 6 as is, just imagine how much more powerful he is with the Mark 6 suit from Halo 2/3!!
CEA just further lets me know how much of a Towel Boy Noble 6 is to the Master Chief. btw Noble 6 didn’t save Master Chief’s life, if it wasn’t for the SPARTAN 2 program the Spartan 3s wouldn’t even exist so actually Master Chief and the SPARTAN 2s saved the Noble 6 life along with all the Spartan 3s.
AWESOME job 343i you guys did a far better job than the “new Bungie” ever could. Funny thing though, they had the successful formula all along since day one 10 years ago.

That sounds like very thread I’ve read saying “I wasted my money on this game” or “I’m going to get my money back”, I don’t mind people posting a thread saying “Hey, here are the issues with this game, but it’s fun.” it’s people who buy the game for the MP side of the game, post threads here moaning about how there’s no built in Halo CE Xbox LIVE MP, or moaning about play lists and bloom. the Play list issues can go and stay in the Reach forum board, since that’s the game they’re for. The moaning about no built in Halo CE MP with LIVE support can just suck it for all I care, cause it’s not going to happen, and I don’t want to see 343i turn out a new MP game very year.
Now, I’ve played the game, haven’t finished it, but so far, I’m enjoying every last second of it, and I’m over joyed that they remade Halo CE, even if they used models from Halo Reach. The sounds of the weapons make me feel like I’m using a powerful weapon, I can stand using a AR with out feeling like I’m using a fancy stapler. I love the sound for the sniper rifle, it sounds like a true sniper rifle, hell, it sounds like a 50 cal. I’m really hoping 343i does as good of a job with Halo 4, if not BETTER, cause I love being able to hear the sound of a powerful weapon when I mow down grunts.
