I agree about the BR.
The only way to avoid BR games is to go on the Halo 4 playlist as most people vote for normal games in that due to the loadout system.
Nearly every Halo 2 or Halo 3 game is a BR start. I actually prefer the 360 version of Halo 3 because that doesn’t have a stupid voting system so you get a random selection of game modes.
Before the Halo 4 playlist was added the BR starts used to force me to quit.

A simple solution would be ditch the voting system and have a playlist just for BR starts.
I know a few people who stopped playing the MCC just because they got bored of BR starts,
MCC would have a much higher online population if there was more variety in the game instead of the same thing over and over again

Sorry but that’s hyperbole. Higher population if there were more auto starts? No. Look at H4, you could choose your own starting weapon and that game died. The people want headshot capable weapon starts that’s why it gets picked.

And then people stop playing because they get sick of doing the exact same thing over and over again. Having a one-gun shooter is like having a fighting game with only one character. Is weapon variety seriously too much to ask for? We should at least have Carbine starts as an option.

Again, hyperbole. No two games are alike, even on the same map. I get it, a very, very small minority dont like BR starts but the majority do and that’s why it gets picked. This weapon variety argument falls on deaf ears with me because every game of BRs I play I kill and get killed by a multitude of weaponry. Its just players whining, to whine.

SMG starts are worst, unless I pick up a BR in said “SMG Start” game and start dominating.
I love spawning with random ARs compared to precision weapons. Maybe playlist should be plasma pistol starts instead.

This I agreed. I already made thread that discuss about the BR. The only reason why this whole BR worship started because some people don’t like the SMG/AR starts and the problem is it getting to additive and I rarely seen anyone picking up any weapons beside the Shotgun, Sniper rifle, rocket launcher or energy sword.

That’s something I can’t stand about classic Halo: useless weapons. You can use the BR or die trying to use anything else. Like buying a Model T, you can have it in any color you want, as long as it’s black.
I’ll take BR over H4 ANY day of the week…

Well said this is the truth of the matter, most people want to use a weapon that takes skill instead of spray and pray starts.

So where’s the variety issue? You’ve just mentioned 4 weapons that people pick up. You anti BR people just want everyone to run around with spikers and be useless all game.

Trouble is you think you have more right to play Halo MCC just because you prefer BR starts. Those who want variety are just casuals to you. You seem to think that hardcore players have more right to play than casual players even though we all paid for the game.
I don’t think there is anything wrong with wanting an AR playlist. Truth is if there was one it wouldn’t effect you at all. You are just being selfish by being against it.

You have no evidence to back up your lie that the low population is down to BR starts, because it couldn’t have been down to the fact that the game was broken for half a year or Halo in general isn’t as popular as it once was…nooooo: Its all down to those pesky BR starts.
