if 343 has any sense, itll be back. the DMR was before the BR, and the BR phased out the DMR. also, you had the BR in H3, and when MC got on the Forward Unto Dawn, there would most likely be a load of H3 weapons and ammo on it.

While I generally agree with the main point of this, the highlighted section I simply disagree with.
In Halo: Combat Evolved, The Master Chief had an assault rifle.
And what happened in Halo 2? No assault rifle.
Just because it was in the game before it, that does not mean it will be in the next.
I haven’t seen a BR thread for at least a month… Either way are we going to tell them to not bring the BR back if we want it back? The forums are here for discussion and suggestions. Theirs not much to discuss other than the things that we already know in the Halo universe.
i want it back. i HATE THE DMR.

You know what the difference there is?
In Halo 3 MC is on ONE ship, all alone, at the beginning of Halo 4, he is also on that ONE ship, all alone.
In Halo CE MC had just left Halo, without any real armaments. Then in Halo 2 we flash forward a few months, while everything in the novel First Strike has already happened, and we instead find MC at Earth on a Space Station having nothing to do with Halo CE.
Also: The MC had an AR on FUD. While there may be a BR on the ship, the AR is the only guaranteed weapon.
And OP: The BR didn’t “phase out” the DMR. They are branch specific weapons, the BR is a Navy-branch weapon, issued to Marines. The DMR is an Army-branch weapon, issued to Soldiers.

the BR with no bullet spread, little aim assist and little bullet magnetism would be the best.
I want a new rifle maybe sone new high tech rifle oni is still developing and u find one on the dawn or a oni base and u get to ne one of the few people to field test it.

I didnt say I know EVERYTHING but I new some things about the gameplay, weapons and some of the story but I cant tell them on this topic otherwise it will get locked
