Halo is being milked wayyyyyyyyy too much. It needs to stop. I feel like Microsoft is just milking it quickly so they can get lots of cash and just ditch Halo. Halo Spartan Assault looks stupid and we don’t need a TV show!

Serious question.

Would you feel the same way if it was Bungie at the helm?

I’ve never understood this whole, “you’re milking it” concept. If you continue to enjoy it, buy it. If not, then stop.

I don’t really like how Microsoft treats Halo either. Kind of sucks.

Not during my lifetime will they ditch Halo. Also do you expect them to work for free.

I like the look of the new game and I sure wouldn’t mind them making a TV series. Don’t like it don’t play it. Why does it have to be about money? Could it not just be people expanding and building on the Halo series.

I’m sure most of the people want the TV series, and Halo SpartanAssault will be awesome to be playing Halos all the day (on the phone) lol!
I like it

Totally disagree with you. I like Halo and I can’t wait to play Spartan Assault. I actually bought and upgraded to Windows 8 today just so I can play it.

The more Halo, the happier I am.

You feel like that, okay… but why? Give us reasons for your thoughts please.

And give us reasons, why Spartan Assalut looks stupid, and why we don’t need a TV-Show (which I really want[/] to see .

Just because you don’t like it does not mean you should stop others from enjoying it.

I think the tv show will be very cool.if you don’t like don’t watch it.

I’m just going to consider it not part of the Halo games, but rather the merchandise, just like I did with Halo Wars.

Halo is more than just a multiplayer game. There is a whole fiction and universe that has been built with Halo and I’m always for it being explored so books, comics, a TV show, and hopefully movie is welcomed.

As for Spartan Assault there is nothing wrong with making what might be an enjoyable mobile game. Microsoft doesn’t have a dedicated video game handheld like Nintendo and Sony, but they do have the mobile Windows platform so I see nothing wrong with supporting it with some games.

Hey man, you can deny reality and tell yourself whatever you want to make yourself feel better.

But Halo Wars is an incredible game and part of the Halo games.

Everybody has his own opinion.

People have been wanting the franchise expanded more for a long time, really since it was made Xbox exclusive.

Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn was done really well for a free movie (when it was shown) IMO, so a TV series with Steven Speilburg looks like it can be really awesome.
Especially since with how “drastic” the changes from Bungie’s story to 343i’s, new ways to expand the lore and explain changes is great.

Spartan Assault looks cool, and I’m interested in how the story will play in. I just wish it wasn’t Windows 8/Phone exclusive, Xbox Arcade would be lovely.

343i is making Halo even more than just a video game franchise, where Bungie didn’t push past books/comics. Nothing wrong with expansion, its not just a multiplayer game, or just an Xbox game in general.

I am looking forward to see what they can do with the halo tv series, but I am not going to buy a poorly made Microsoft product(Windows 8, Smartphone, Tablet, ect) to play a halo game.

The franchise will be officially milked when they make a halo branded drink. You never know one day Hola (halo-cola) could be at your supermarkets!

I agree Halo Wars was indeed a great game.

Microsoft are sorta Milking the franchise however like may have said, “dont like it, dont buy it.”

Unfortunatly we have no say in what products that Microsoft decide to create, some people wont like it whilst others will love it, with this new Halo game that is being released on tablet and Windows 8, I don’t feel that this is at all milking the franchise, people have been waiting for a portable Halo game since the rumors of Halo DS, i think its great and the game looks cool too.

With their new TV show they are making for halo, its not a game so im not complaining, I can’t wait, it may not be a Movie like allot of us have been asking for but i guess Forward Unto Dawn has filled that space, this new TV show will be a new experience for halo fans and newcomers alike, its also a way for Microsoft to appeal the brand to people who otherwise would not be interested in the video game series, maybe they have gone a little far to get a director like Steven Spielberg but this could introduce new things in the Halo universe, and it being known as a universe means wide, so having a wide range of entertainment sources is a good thing.

Keep making more Halo content–it can’t die after Halo 6, it just can’t!
