343 is not as bad as you all think. Nostalgia has fogged most fans eyes, going by the logic of ‘if it’s not bungie then it’s not good.’ Halo 5 is a good game overall most of the design changes make sense such as the rocket laucher using less resources on the laucher (the second barrel was not needed anyway). The gameplay is smooth and fun the new gamemodes have made it better and if you haters want a game made by bungie, go play destiny! You haters are just splitting the fantasy more. On this website it’s shown that we are a big community but haters have created factions of the ‘true halo fans’ and the ones who embrace the new. I understand that you dislike halo 5, because it’s your opinion but please don’t go hunting down those who like halo 5 and ruining their fun. This is just my opinion so please share yours below. (Sorry for the long post).
- They make Halo 4, AKA the biggest slap in the face to the fans and the single most despised game of the franchise.
- They make MCC, one of the most broken, if the most broken, triple A games in video game history.
- They make Halo 5 which launches with less content than any Halo game in the last ten years. Oh, and they couldn’t get the aiming right in a first person shooter.
They also love giving us the silent treatment, so that’s always fun. Until they show me they respect the franchise and its fans, forgive me if I’m a little hard on them. That’s my opinion though, so thanks for asking.

Don’t forget they don’t solve players problems
My beef is with their story direction, multiplayer was definitely improved… Two steps forward

The campaign wasn’t good. I’ve maintained that point since the game launched and always go into detail. Besides, those who do like Halo 5 just as often belittle those who don’t like it. Posts like the OPs don’t help.

I don’t even see a lot of the Bungie should take over complaints as much as I used to see them. The people who blindly praise 343 for everything they do are just as big of a problem if not bigger because they’ll accept anything that 343 gives them no matter how bad it is for gameplay.

- No one likes 343’s look for the rocket. simple as that. And guess what? They put the good rocket back in, so what was that about resources?
- What new gamemodes? Breakout, Warzone and Strongholds? everything else is rerun like all Halos.
- I don’t think anyone ever said destiny was better, so no one’s really gonna play that.
- In what way are ‘haters’ splitting fantasy?
- People compare each Halo to figure out what’s actually good vs what’s bad.
- Like your opinion, everyone else is just sharing theirs. If there was actually a problem with them doing that, then a mod/admin would’ve locked their posts or banned them etc…
BTW, the biggest and main problem with halo 5 is that there was no real campaign. It was the shortest campaign ever.
