The whine-per-second rate around here is off the hook. We could light a bulb with that energy… Good god…

Anyways…

Sprint or not Sprint is not the question.

Team Slayer and Team Slayer Classic, is the question.

Oh, right. I’m sure that’s been confirmed.

So your options are pretty limited, haters…

1. Adapt.
2. Refuse to Adapt and play the playlist that describes you.
3. Quit Halo.

It’s harsh, but sorry. It’s realistic. I don’t think anyone is wrong by hating sprint, I just think this whole thing is blown way out of proportion, because in reality your just going to get your own playlist. I don’t think it’s going to be very popular, but hey, you’ll have it!

So… Is it really worth crying about it? Yeah… And I’m sure by now they’ve heard your pleas on the subject. God knows the rest of us have. I hope they give you what you want; I hope they introduce a Classic Slayer playlist.

Where was ‘Team Slayer Classic’ confirmed?

How do we know what ‘classic’ even is anymore?

Gotta love survival of the fittest, while I run around with sprint, adapting to my new abilities they’re stuck in the past where they cant run. I can escape and come back to pick them off later. Darwinism right there for ya, folks.

I’ve never ever saw any Sprint hate thread until after the vidoc, on both bungie and 343 forums, i can’t really understand the sudden explosion of hate on it.
I personally never had a single problem with it, it makes me travel around the battlefield faster and i like that, i kill most people who try to run away, and if they do get away it’s because there is cover very close to them.

That’s a great idea, OP! We should utilize all this whining about things that we barely have any information on and make it the next energy source.

You see, it’s renewable, and will always be there when some sort of innovation comes along.

Energy crisis solved!

You really calling yourself a gamer, and you don’t think there will be playlists? Let alone, CLASSIC, playlists?

Oh, no. You just mean, that it hasn’t been CONFIRMED… I get it…

God knows why HALO would have playlists int the first place… LOL…

We can use the tears of the sprint haters to solve drought issues and the lack of water in third-world countries.

Get this man a medal!

I hope there is an achievement called “BUT I DON’T WANNA!”

I hope that achievement is only unlocked by Sprinting in a Halo 4 MM game.

I remember Frank saying classic slayer would return. I’m pretty sure classic slayer will remain classic as its always been. The manner in which he referred to classic was basically in reference to those not liking the changes…

I’d like to accept my nomination and thank 343i for adding sprint into Halo 4 so the world can be a better place.

You know, I remember this as well. God, I wish I could remember what interview/panel he or someone else stated it in. SO yeah…

Thinking that it wouldn’t be an option is completely arrogant. It’s like they are trying to win a dispute by ignoring the fact that EVERY game has a classic playlist.

It has been said on several occasions that there will be classic playlists, as well that 343i is focusing on having playlists that MLG will immediatly feel at home at, and at least as many that use all the new features. Haters can stop hating now, kthnx.

The problem with “Classic” playlists is that they never really play like classic Halo. Once you start torturing the sandbox to the degree that the Halo series has, it becomes more and more difficult to tweak the settings in the exact way that recreates that crisp, fast, enjoyable old-style gameplay.

Slap on a new engine, Remake some maps, alter the pistol to a 3 shot kill. Done. I will probably be playing my fair share of both types. Hopefully the gametypes aren’t implemented like Reach had implemented TU and regular slayer instead of giving them seperate playlists.

> 1. Adapt.

Why don’t you adapt? Halo shouldn’t have sprint because you’re bad at decisions making and map positioning.

> 2. Refuse to Adapt and play the playlist that describes you.

Why should the majority be forced into a select number of playlists? (Yes, the people who don’t want sprint outnumber the people who want it)

> 3. Quit Halo.

Why don’t you? If we didn’t have you around than we could get a real Halo game for the first time in 5 years.

Honestly, without replicating the EXACT same game engine, coding, etc, it’s not going to feel EXACTLY the same.

It’s going to use the new engine and the new physics, so yeah. It will vary.

BUT…

It will include: No loadouts, no AA’s, and other elements of Classic Slayer.

So if your REALLY wanting the same thing you’ve played before, which is what your asking for, go play Halo 3. There’s nothing in a manual that says you can’t.

Oh, right… Again… I forgot…

Nobody plays Halo 3 because it’s outdated.

I’m defying the point of my OP. I just can’t help myself.

Has anyone got any dynamite? I’m gonna close the rabbit hole for good, that will take care of things

You could always plug the other exits and put a hose in the one you didn’t plug and fill the hole with water… Jussayin
