Stop giving up in warzone

Never give up

I’ve seen a lot of threads about people complaining that warzone is unfair and unbalanced. Having played it a lot, I see probably 3 or 4 players quit every game if they don’t get the middle base, and then 2 or 3 if they don’t get the first legendary boss. Couple notes I have…

  1. Once a warzone game becomes 9 on 12 from quitters, yes, it becomes hard, so don’t be one of them, you’re making the problem that otherwise doesn’t exist.
  2. Until the other team has 1000 points, no one has won. I saw a clip recently of a team losing like 600 999, and they triple capped and cored. The other team needed 1 point and still lost.
  3. A base cap earns 12 points per minute, and with a wz game being about 22 mins, having two bases only earns 280ish extra points. This can easily be reversed by killing bosses. So DON’T QUIT if you get double capped.
  4. Lookup teams coming back from triple caps, it’s not that uncommon. I’ve probably had 15 games in 2017 where I was on a team that reversed a triple cap and won.

So please, don’t quit or give up, or else then you are the problem. Warzone was designed to let the losing team stay in it until literally the last point is earned

Well Halo is full of kids and teenager’s so you will be facing that situation everyday unless you have a team or get really lucky, I always stay in the game unless the connection kicks me out which really almost never happens

I jip a warzone game and was tripple cappped, I just popped on a camo, cappped the far base, then that allowed for my team to get the base closest to home and eventually the fortress and we cored them. When I joined our core could have been sneezed on and it blow up. It is possible to make comebacks, but leaving only makes it more difficult

I’ve been guilty of rage-quitting a few times. I don’t feel bad quitting out of WZ if I’m not contributing since the odds are good someone better will replace me. In ranked I’ll play 4v1 hide-and-seek if it comes to it.
Good message though OP; hopefully you’ll convert a few chronic quitters.

Thanks, I can’t lazy link yet

Report the quitters and move on OP. If they are reported they will be banned and their reputation will suffer.

Yeah, I just wish people didn’t give up automatically. The best games are when you’re losing or are tripped, and you core at the last second. This doesn’t happen if you quit when you have 1 base

You can since you’re Marine rank. There’s an icon in the gray bar on top that has a link option, third from the it right looks like three chain-links or a pair of glasses tilted at a 45

I’m not upset, I’m just trying to encourage players not to give up so easily (I don’t mind a 9 on 12, makes it a challenge for my company). The most fun games are comebacks

I just got promoted a post ago, thanks!

Agreed, but this should go for every playlist, not just warzone. I’ve seen people leave in Arena because things haven’t gone their way within a minute. It’s ridiculous and childish.

It’s always easier to come back when you’re with mates as well as drive off randoms from the other team. Most quitters quit because the odds are stacked against them. This is the way warzone was designed. The time for come backs is long gone the way warzone is set up and it will stay that way until there are real chances for the losing team to turn the tide.

Yes there will always be some people who quit but the real problem is the warzone checks and balances or rather lack there of.

That’s the attitude I want to see more of here on the forums.

Nice! Inspiring message.

If I could tell they quit, then I would do this in a heartbeat.

If more had this attitude, I’m sure there would be less quitting.

Report them all, let MS sort them out.

It isn’t very hard to turn a game around from a triple cap. Just pop a camo, cap the far base, bam. Sadly most people don’t think to do this. Even if I get triple capped with no camo, I just push the enemy back. Some of the best moments in Warzone are when you push and steal the win.

Depends on the game. Had games where I was dominating then in the next match I’m barely able to move without getting spawn killed, it’s bad enough that Flinch is in there so it irritates me a lot, I doubt most gamers would want to put up with that amount of stress because its not remotely fun.

I’ve been about 500 points down and cored once, it was a great feeling.
