Free for all challenges are stupid when youre in a party. Can i just be allowed to attempt to unlock the ultimate reward with my friends? Why are you forcing lobbies of friends to split apart if they want the weekly reward 343?

Because next season is lone wolves…sooooo ALOT of FFA.
I mean, they only have a handful of game types, so yeah. FFA.

You only have to play a few games for that one challenge and then you can go back to your party. There is nothing wrong with a variety of challenges it keeps the playlists active and it challenges you.

I have to get 20 kills, so unless i win, its probably 2 games. And then i have another FFA challenge to play 5 games. And then, i kid you not, another FFA challenge to play 2 games. Thats more than a few games and im running low on challenge swaps this deep into the season lol
Yup, if you don’t like FFA, my advice, skip season 2

Its not that i dont like FFA, its that i dont like being in a loby with my friends and we’re all trying to grind out the weekly reward together. Then all of a sudden i have to say “hey im gonna go play free for all for the next 30 minutes while you guys all have fun together without me.” It sucks and i hate this challenge system but i would like to unlock this visor

FFA also counts towards quick play challenges, as does team slayer.
I don’t like (i.e. don’t have the skill 
) for FFA… next season is going to be a real slog for me if the challenges are massively skewed to FFA playlists and modes.

I dont have unlimited challenge swaps. This is near the end of the season too so i really have to ration then out.

stop playing stuff you feel forced to play. don’t play anything you’re not having fun with. these challenges are not mandatory and actually are just psychological manipulation to keep people playing, even if the don’t have fun with the game. and obviously it’s working (judging by the amount of threads popping up complaining about challenges)
the sooner people realize this, the sooner people start playing for fun again (doesn’t have to be halo) and not to just fill up random number-bars. and the sooner people will feel better about themselves.
(and maybe in the wake of this, games will start to be designed to be fun again, instead of cash grabs)

Dont get me wrong, i enjoy playing infinite. I really dont mind playing FFA that much. I just really hate how narrow and specific these challenges are to the point that they ruin a lobby of friends trying to grind out the ultimate rewards together.
I have 10, but using them as a crutch is just putting a band aid on the problem. 343 just needs to outright change the challenge system so that people can unlock the weeklies without having to do things like break apart a lobby of friends or roll the dice on RNG matchmaking servers trying to find a specific game mode in quick play, thus incentivizing people to quit games until they find what they need.
Plus if i use challenge swaps to avoid FFA challenges, i’d have to use 4 of them. End of the season, not so bad. But if it were the middle of the season, i’d have a bigger problem.
