The amount of people I see defending micro transactions in Halo is utterly insane, I’m not sure if people even understand this; MICRO TRANSACTIONS IN HALO… now how in gods name did they manage to add such insulting trash to Halo? beats me.
but you lot defending this cancer are seriously making me think twice about buying future Halo games… imagine if we all told 343 and microsoft that we hate micro transactions in this franchise then they’d listen but oh no let’s all be 343 fan boys and suck on anything they give us and please don’t leave comments like ‘well they’re optional you know’ and ‘it’s not pay to win so it’s fine’, you people can -Yoink- yourselves seriously if this id the future of Halo (a micro transaction filled cash cow) then I’m done
I’ve never defended them and I hope they never return.
Does that make map packs okay? Because map packs and other DLC have always been about the same as microtransactions in my mind.
The solution here seems simple. If you don’t like micro transactions, don’t spend money on them. They are optional, so if you don’t want to spend money (or don’t have it like me) then have fun playing the game and build up your REQ’s and collections a bit slower. It’s not play to win, so it’s fine. Oh, I’m sorry, I just used all the logical arguments that your requested not to be posted on your thread. My bad.

Exactly. I’d much rather have micro transactions around that I don’t have to spend money on then DLC which I do have to pay extra for if I want to play on all the available maps.
Beats paying for maps in my opinion. If this is what it takes, keep them micro-transactions coming!
Stop complaining about microtransactions …
Why are you assuming people are spending hundreds and thousands of dollars on them? The req system is better than the map pack system that divides the population.between players who buy then and players who don’t.
This is still a thing?
If you were so against microtransactions, you should have voiced that concern by not buying Halo 5. You’ve basically told 343i that microtransactions are good since you bought the game with full knowledge of it.
I am not going to lie but this type of microtransactions is pretty weak compared to other games and esp MMOs. idc if they did the same thing with h6 since it really doesn’t effect us in general
